Below is our list of the best Wyoming apps, followed by a closer look at each one we recommend. The rest covers the age rule, college betting, why the state doesn't tax your winnings and the questions people ask us most.

Wyoming app reviews

The cards below follow the list's order and show, for each app, the offer we checked, what it is best for and how it works in Wyoming.

1. FanDuel

FanDuel arrived in Wyoming in March 2022, about six months after the market opened, and the state's regulators said at the time that some bettors had been waiting for it. The app is quick and simple, and same game parlays take a few taps.

FanDuel's terms take bettors from 18 in Wyoming, and its live odds keep up with the game.

Read our full FanDuel review, or claim the offer here.

2. DraftKings

DraftKings was the first app to take a bet in Wyoming, approved by regulators on launch day. It also takes players from 18 here.

Live betting is the strong suit, betting pools let you run a contest with friends, and every bet counts toward Dynasty Rewards.

Read our full DraftKings review, or claim the offer here.

3. BetMGM

BetMGM went live with DraftKings on Wyoming's first day. Its menu of sports runs deeper than most, which helps if you like golf or soccer.

Edit My Bet lets you change an open bet, and bets earn BetMGM Rewards points that carry over to MGM hotels.

Read our full BetMGM review, or claim the offer here.

4. Fanatics

Fanatics became Wyoming's fifth sportsbook in May 2024. Every bet earns FanCash, which you can spend on jerseys and gear or put back into bets.

Read our full Fanatics review, or claim the offer here.

5. Sleeper

Sleeper runs fantasy leagues and real-money picks in one app, right next to the league chat. Wyoming law keeps fantasy contests outside its gambling rules without licensing them, and Sleeper offers its peer-to-peer PicksVS pools and Daily Drafts here from 18.

Read our full Sleeper review, or claim the offer here.

6. Dabble

Dabble is pick'em with a social side: copy any public entry in one tap and chat with other players while the game runs. Wyoming doesn't allow pick'em against the house, so Dabble's contests here are peer-to-peer. You can play at 18.

Read our full Dabble review, or claim the offer here.

7. Betr

Betr Picks has you stack 2 to 10 More or Less picks for a bigger multiplier, and Dynamic Play entries can survive a miss. Betr Picks is live in Wyoming and open from 18, the same age the state sets for its sportsbooks.

Read our full Betr review, or claim the offer here.

8. ParlayPlay

ParlayPlay offers Higher or Lower slips on player stats, Insured entries and Rumble contests against other players, on phone or desktop. It is one of the pick'em apps active in Wyoming, where no state law licenses or taxes fantasy apps.

Read our full ParlayPlay review, or claim the offer here.

9. Chalkboard

Chalkboard drops every pick into a group chat Board and processes withdrawals every hour. Its peer-to-peer Showdowns and Pulls are open in Wyoming from 18, and Cowboys games are fair game.

Read our full Chalkboard review, or claim the offer here.

10. Underdog

Underdog runs sports prediction markets on its own CFTC-regulated exchange and keeps Best Ball drafts, pick'em and Rips card packs in the same account. Every Underdog mode is open in Wyoming, including college pick'em and college drafts, and pick'em runs in the player-versus-player Champions format. You need to be 18.

Trading involves risk, including total loss on positions

Read our full Underdog review, or claim the offer here.

11. Kalshi

Kalshi is a CFTC-regulated exchange where you trade Yes and No contracts on sports, rates and weather, with no vig and limit orders at your price. Wyoming has no bills on prediction markets and has taken no action against them. Kalshi's minimum age of 18 matches the state's betting age.

Read our full Kalshi review, or claim the offer here.

12. Polymarket US

Polymarket US lists contracts on sports, politics, economics, crypto and culture, with in-play sports trading and a rebate on filled limit orders. Wyoming regulators have left prediction markets alone, and Polymarket US accepts traders from 18.

18+ Only. Restrictions and eligibility requirements apply. Not available in all jurisdictions. Trading is risky. 100% loss can occur. See polymarket.com/tos for more information. The Polymarket US App serves as an independent software provider and affiliate of Polymarket US and Polymarket Clearing, the CFTC-regulated exchange and clearing organization.

Read our full Polymarket US review, or claim the offer here.

13. Novig

Novig is a sports-only market where you trade with other people, with commission-free pregame trades and Make orders at your own price. Novig sets its own minimum age at 21, so Wyoming bettors aged 18 to 20 can't use it even though the state's sportsbooks take them.

Read our full Novig review, or claim the offer here.

14. ProphetX

ProphetX runs its own CFTC-approved exchange for sports contracts, takes 2% of net winnings and does not limit winners. It is open in Wyoming from 18, and the state has not moved against prediction markets.

Read our full ProphetX review, or claim the offer here.

15. Fliff

Fliff plays like a sportsbook with spreads, props and same game parlays, using Fliff Coins for fun or Fliff Cash for prizes. Fliff's sweepstakes rules allow Wyoming, and the age is 18 here.

Read our full Fliff review, or claim the offer here.

16. ReBet

ReBet posts picks into a social feed where you can copy anyone's parlay in one tap or challenge a friend head to head. ReBet's rules leave Wyoming open to players 18 and over.

Read our full ReBet review, or claim the offer here.

17. Courtside

Courtside, launched in January 2026, combines sports picks, player pick'em, arcade games, a social casino and card rips under one balance. Wyoming has no commercial casinos, and Courtside's social casino and picks are open here from 18.

Read our full Courtside review, or claim the offer here.

Sports betting law in Wyoming

Governor Mark Gordon signed HB 133 in April 2021, creating the Online Sports Wagering Act. The law set the minimum age at 18, told the state's gaming regulator to license at least five operators and set no upper limit. Operators pay $100,000 for a five-year license and a 10% tax on revenue, and the first $300,000 each year goes to treating gambling addiction.

DraftKings and BetMGM opened the market on September 1, 2021. FanDuel followed in March 2022, a fourth book came after that, and Fanatics made it five in May 2024. PENN Entertainment also holds a permit, so theScore Bet could still launch here. The regulator started out as the Wyoming Pari-Mutuel Commission and is now the Wyoming Gaming Commission.

Wyoming teams to bet on

Wyoming has no pro teams, so most bettors here back the Cowboys and the Denver clubs.

  • Wyoming Cowboys and Cowgirls (college): The University of Wyoming plays in the Mountain West, and its games are on the board.
  • Denver Broncos (NFL): The closest NFL team for most of the state.
  • Denver Nuggets (NBA): Won the NBA title in 2023.
  • Colorado Avalanche (NHL): Won the Stanley Cup in 2022.
  • Colorado Rockies (MLB): Play at Coors Field in Denver.

FAQs

Is online sports betting legal in Wyoming?

Yes. Online sports betting has been legal since September 1, 2021, regulated by the Wyoming Gaming Commission. Five sportsbook apps are live.

How old do you have to be to bet on sports in Wyoming?

State law sets the age at 18. Some operators set their own minimum of 21, and each app checks your age when you sign up.

Which Wyoming sportsbook should I download first?

We would start with FanDuel for its easy app and same game parlays. DraftKings is close behind for live betting, and with only five books in the state, it pays to have two or three to compare odds.

Can you bet on college sports in Wyoming?

Yes. College games are on the board, including the Wyoming Cowboys. Wyoming does not ban bets on its in-state college teams.

Do you pay tax on sports betting winnings in Wyoming?

Not to the state. Wyoming has no personal income tax. Winnings are still taxable income on your federal return, and sportsbooks send a W-2G for larger wins.

Can visitors bet in Wyoming?

Yes. You don't need to live in Wyoming, only to be inside the state when you bet. The app checks your location, and once you cross into a neighboring state it won't take bets.
