FanDuel is a goliath in the US online sports betting industry, and for good reason. Simply put, FanDuel is the best in class in almost every aspect of their product. They offer almost every sport and league imaginable to wager on, have a nice variety of bonuses and promotions, top-notch safety and security, and a good variety of deposit and withdrawal options.
FanDuel started as a Daily Sports Fantasy (DFS) site and still offers that. They also have an online casino in five states and a racebook in nine states. FanDuel offers a great range of bet types too, from spreads and moneylines to parlays, futures and more. The odds are competitive and on par with all of the other top U.S. legal online sportsbooks and their app and interface make it incredibly easy to navigate and place your wagers.
Players have many options when it comes to the sports one can wager on. Football, baseball, basketball, hockey, and soccer, as well as quite a few others, including NCAA basketball and football, tennis, boxing, and MMA. They also offer odds on more niche sports such as cycling, snooker, darts, and table tennis, to name a few. FanDuel offers live betting and live streaming on some events, so you can watch them live and wager on them at the same time.
FanDuel also cares about its players, as they offer nice bonuses and promotions to new and existing players and have many guide articles and tutorials for sports betting. The sportsbook uses the latest security technology to ensure that a player’s personal and financial information is 100% safe and sure. They are also very transparent in how they deal with player safety and security in the Security and Privacy Policy links. You also know you are playing at a safe and legal site at FanDuel, as every state they operate in is licensed and regulated by a state government-run gaming body.

Website Experience and Performance
The website experience and performance at FanDuel are fantastic, offering players the best gaming experience. FanDuel is more about substance over style when it comes to the website design and while it is not the flashiest, all of the important information is on the landing page. Navigation is simple and at the top of the page you will find all of the links for fantasy, the casino and the racebook that are available in the state in which you are wishing place your wager.
On the left-hand side of the page, you will see a category of Popular, with links such as Promos, Boosts, and Guide as well as those for some of the more popular US leagues such as NFL, MLB and NBA. Below that, you will see the links for all of the sports. You can click on any of those sports to see what bets are available, the odds and if the game or match is currently available live. If you click on the game or match, it will show you all the available proposition bets. One of the unique things about FanDuel is that if the game or match is live, it will show you all of the prop betting options and Game View with the latest score and Game Stats.
With FanDuel using the latest technology to power the sportsbook, DFS, casino and the racebook, performance is top-notch and there are rarely glitches or downtime.
App Experience and Performance
The FanDuel app experience and performance are solid for iOS and Android users. In terms of system requirements, iOS users must have at least an operational system of 8.1 or higher and 7.0 or higher for Android users. All of the things available on the desktop version of the site are also available through the app and many users prefer setting lineups and making wagers on their phone as opposed to a computer. The app's functionality is easy to navigate and provides an intuitive interface.
What we Like
All of it. As stated before, FanDuel offers all the things a good sportsbook should have and more. One of the main draws of the sportsbook is the number of sports and bets available. Customer service is available 24/7 through live chat, and there is also an extensive FAQ section. FanDuel goes out of their way to help their players with a Betting Guide and House Rules links below where the sports are. The integration with the DFS, casino and racebook products is a big plus too.
Room for improvement
There are not a lot of cons when it comes to FanDuel sportsbook. The site is not the most attractive, and the many links at the bottom of the page are in small font.
