CFB Week 11 Saturday Best Picks

As the pressure ramps up in November, college football’s Week 11 slate delivers a critical mix of playoff contenders, teams fighting for bowl eligibility and programs simply trying to survive the remainder of the season.

Alabama continues its push toward a College Football Playoff return. Washington is trying to win out and sneak into the CFP, and Indiana, in year two of one of the most dramatic turnarounds in college football, looks to keep rolling against a Penn State team that has completely unraveled.

We’ve locked in three plays for Saturday that align with matchup advantages, coaching stability and on-field execution. Let’s get into this week’s best bets.

CFB Saturday Predictions

Pick #1: LSU Tigers vs Alabama Crimson Tide Under 49.5 (-110) Click Here to Bet

Pick #3: Indiana Hoosiers -14.5 over Penn State Nittany Lions (-110) Click Here to Bet

Pick #1: LSU vs Alabama Under 49.5 (-110) Click Here to Bet

This matchup in Tuscaloosa may still bring rivalry fire, but the scoring profile suggests a much tighter, lower-tempo outcome. Alabama’s identity under Kalen DeBoer has streamlined into precision and control, as Heisman-hopeful quarterback Ty Simpson has thrown just one interception all season while the Tide rank top-10 in turnover margin and time of possession. They sustain long, efficient drives and limit opponents’ possessions, which naturally suppresses total points.

LSU, meanwhile, looks nothing like the explosive team we’ve seen in past years. The Tigers cannot generate consistent push up front and are bottom-five nationally in rushing offense. That’s the exact wrong profile against an Alabama defense that thrives when opponents become one-dimensional and predictable. Garrett Nussmeier has talent, but behind a collapsing line, he has been forced into hurried decisions and stalled red-zone trips. LSU scores on just 82.8 percent of red-zone opportunities, while Alabama’s defense has been elite, holding opponents to 70%.

Both sides’ strengths directly counter what the opposing offense wants to do. With Alabama’s ability to dictate pace, limit explosive plays and keep its defense fresh, this game projects more like the Tide’s recent SEC wins in which they allowed just 24 points or fewer. Something around 28-17 fits the film, the trends, and the current form, and that lands under the total.

Pick #2: Washington vs Wisconsin Under 45.5 (-110) Click Here to Bet

On paper, Washington brings a strong scoring offense into Madison, but this has been a different football team once it leaves Seattle. The Huskies managed just 24 points at Maryland and only 7 at Michigan, and now enter Camp Randall to face miserable weather and a Wisconsin team that forces a slow, grinding tempo. The Badgers rank dead last nationally in pace and rely on a defense that just held Oregon to 21 points in Eugene.

Wisconsin’s offensive situation is even more bleak. Injuries and instability at quarterback have left them without identity or explosiveness. This could be their fourth different starting QB of the year, and the Badgers haven’t scored double digits since October 4. Washington’s defense has been solid against the run, and Wisconsin doesn’t have the personnel to exploit Washington’s issues on third down or in coverage.

Expect Washington to get ahead early and lean heavily on the legs of Demond Williams Jr. and Jonah Coleman to bleed clock rather than chase style points. With Wisconsin struggling to reach even two scores against average opponents, and Washington showing little interest in running up the scoreboard on the road, this tilt has all the makings of a 27-10 or 24-13 finish.

Pick #3: Indiana -14.5 over Penn State (-110) Click Here to Bet

The contrast in momentum here is as stark as it gets. Penn State has lost five straight and has turned to interim coach Terry Smith while also dealing with a quarterback situation that has wrecked any downfield threat. True freshman Ethan Grunkemeyer has struggled to push the ball beyond 10 yards, and the Nittany Lions rank 104th nationally in explosive pass plays because of it. With the program in limbo, the energy has disappeared, and that showed last week in a 38-14 loss to Ohio State after trailing by just three at halftime.

Indiana, meanwhile, is hitting its peak. Curt Cignetti has injected life and identity into a program once viewed as a perennial afterthought. The Hoosiers have throttled three straight Big Ten opponents by 25 or more points, including a 55-10 demolition at Maryland and a 63-10 win over Illinois. If Indiana gets ahead early, and its balanced offense makes that extremely likely, the Hoosiers will not take their foot off the gas. This is a physical, confident group playing for playoff seeding, while Penn State appears ready for the offseason.

If Indiana reaches even 30 points, Penn State has no realistic path to keep this within the number. Indiana rolls big again.
