Lakers vs. Kings Prediction, NBA Odds & Best Bets (11/4)

Odds as of 7:00 AM ET, Nov 4, 2026
The Lakers (6-2) visit the Kings (1-6) at Golden 1 Center for a 10:00 PM ET tip. We expect a Lakers runaway with Luka Doncic doing most of the damage. Los Angeles scores 122.5 points a game, second in the NBA, and Sacramento allows 124.3, 29th, while still playing without Keegan Murray, Maxime Raynaud and Ben Simmons. So we're laying the big number with the Lakers and taking Doncic over his points line.
Both teams played two nights ago and had a day off, so nobody is on a back-to-back. Adou Thiero is the only Lakers player listed out, and Walker Kessler is available on the latest injury report with a splint on his left finger. The projected Lakers starters are Doncic, Austin Reaves, Ziaire Williams, Matisse Thybulle and Kessler, with Williams, back from a foot injury, projected to take Jake LaRavia's spot. Neither team has confirmed its starters.
Lakers vs. Kings Predictions
- Pick #1: Lakers -11.5 (-106)
- Pick #2: Luka Doncic Over 34.5 Points (-106)
PICK #1: Lakers -11.5 (-106)
Sacramento can't keep anyone off the board. Opponents scored 123, 130, 132 and 136 in four of the Kings' last five games, and the exception was a 115-100 win at Dallas in their last game. The Lakers have put up 129, 131 and 138 in three of their last five, and they've already won by 12 or more three times: by 22 over Golden State, 16 at the Clippers and 21 over Miami in their last game.
The bigger bets agree with us. The Lakers have 88% of the spread money on 69% of the tickets, and -106 implies a 51.5% chance.
This isn't a small number to lay. The Lakers have cleared it in only three of eight games, and one projection model has them winning by about six. We think a Kings defense this thin hands Doncic and the starters a lead they can stretch before the benches come in.
PICK #2: Luka Doncic Over 34.5 Points (-106)
Doncic is averaging 38.3 points a game and has gone over 34.5 in five of his seven, including 41, 37, 45 and 42 in his last four. He scored 42 on 14-of-24 shooting with six threes against Miami and 45 against Toronto, when he made all 13 of his free throws. The one game he sat in that stretch was the second night of a back-to-back, and tonight isn't one.
His role isn't in question. JJ Redick staggers him with Reaves and said "Luka plays the whole first quarter." At -106 the line implies 51.5%. Seven games is thin evidence, but a defense giving up 124.3 a game is the right matchup for another 35-point night.
The danger is a game that's decided too early. In the 22-point win over Golden State he played 30 minutes and scored 28, and his other miss was 23 points on 8-of-21 shooting in the 16-point win at the Clippers. Then again, the Lakers beat Miami by 21 and he still played 36 minutes and scored 42. If Los Angeles pulls away early tonight, his fourth quarter is the first thing to go.
