Check out the best picks for all nine NBA games on Monday's MLK Day bonanza, as well as injury and lineup info.

MLK Day and the NBA have had a special relationship for more than 30 years and it’s always one of the most exciting days of the year for hoops lovers. Christmas Day has marquee matchups and fewer games, whereas today is just a basketball bonanza from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. Here’s a look at every matchup with some news and notes, as well as Oddscrowd’s best bets.
The Celtics will be without Jaylen Brown (groin) again but despite him missing his third straight game, the Celtics are going for their seventh straight win. The Hornets have lost four straight and are in the hunt for future No. 1 draft pick Victor Wembanyama, and were trounced by these same Celtics on Saturday. Gordon Hayward is doubtful due to his hamstring injury and the Celtics should roll again today, assuming the Celtics aren’t hungover with an early game on a Monday. Top Oddscrowd performer justforfun likes the Celtics minus the 8.5 points today.
Pick: Celtics -8.5
The Pacers have dropped three straight games and will be without Tyrese Haliburton (elbow, knee) and C Myles Turner is questionable. Those are Indy’s two best players and the entire organization is still reeling from Ja Morant’s thunderous dunk on them Saturday night. Giannis Antetokounmpo is due back for the Bucks today so things aren’t looking all that great for the Pacers. Especially with an angry Bucks team at home on a two-game losing streak. However, the Oddscrowd algorithm gives a 3.4% +EV Edge to the Pacers and the Moneyline at +360.
Pick: Pacers Moneyline

This is one of the more interesting matchups of the day and our algorithm likes the Warriors, despite the fact that Bradley Beal might be set to return from an eight-game absence for the Wizards and Klay Thompson (knee maintenance, back-to-back) is resting for the Warriors today. The algorithm gives the Warriors a whopping 4.7% +EV Edge on the Moneyline and a 3% +EV Edge at -2.5 points.
Picks: Warriors Moneyline and Warriors -2.5
Julius Randle went off for 42 points and 15 rebounds on Sunday and Jalen Brunson stayed red-hot with 27 points as the Knicks won their sixth game in seven January tries. Brunson is averaging 32.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.9 3-pointers this month. The Raptors are listing Fred VanVleet as questionable with lower back soreness and might be trying to pace themselves with a five-game schedule over the next seven days. Top Oddscrowd performing bettor bodysurfoceanside likes the Over of 218 on this one.
Pick: Over 218
The Pelicans’ Herb Jones is questionable with a sore back and they’re coming off a win over the tanking Pistons on Friday, while the Cavs inexplicably lost to the Timberwolves on Saturday. Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell should be in for big days, especially if Jones is out. Top Oddscrowd performing bettor bodysurfoceanside likes the Over at 222.5 in this one and the algorithm gives a 2.1% +EV Edge to the over, as well.
Pick: Over 222
The Heat have won three straight games but will be without point guard Kyle Lowry today due to a knee injury. Look for Gabe Vincent and Victor Oladipo to step up in his place. Caleb Martin is questionable with a quad injury, as usual. The Heat beat the Hawks 106-98 in their only other meeting this season. Atlanta has strung together two straight wins over the Raptors and banged up Pacers and Trae Young is probable with a sore left shoulder. Clint Capela (calf), who’s been out seemingly forever, has been upgraded to questionable for this one as he nears a return. The Oddscrowd algorithm gives the Under of 223.5 points a 2.3% +EV Edge today.
Pick: Under 223.5
The Jazz are coming off a tough, one-point loss to the Sixers on Saturday night after a Joel Embiid game-winner and star Lauri Markkanen is questionable today with a hip injury. If he’s out it will be a tough blow to Utah. Kelly Olynyk is out with an ankle injury so we should get another full dose of rookie Walker Kessler, who’s been playing at a very high level. Meanwhile, the streaking Timberwolves have somehow pieced together five wins over their last six games, beating the likes of the Cavs, Suns, Clippers, Blazers and Nuggets, while losing to the laughable Pistons. However, star Anthony Edwards (hip) and Rudy Gobert (groin) are both questionable. If Edwards is out it’s a game-changer for the Wolves, as he’s averaging 23.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 2.3 3-pointers in January. Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) remains out indefinitely. The Oddscrowd algorithm gives a 2.1% +EV Edge to the Wolves at -2 tonight but we’d recommend checking on the status of Markkanen and Edwards before placing any bets.
Pick: Wolves -2
The Suns are getting a ton of points tonight due to the absence of Devin Booker, Cameron Payne, Cameron Johnson, Chris Paul and Landry Shamet, who are all dealing with lingering injuries. They’ve lost four of their last five games and visit a Memphis team that has won eight straight. Ja Morant is averaging 30.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.4 3-pointers in January but is listed as questionable with a hip injury. If Morant gets the day off Tyus Jones has been filling in admirably for him and the Grizzlies still shouldn’t miss a beat. Top Oddscrowd bettor bodysurfoceanside likes the over of 228.5 points and given how much Memphis has been scoring lately, we do too.
Pick: Over 228.5 points
You can take a break from hoops to watch the Buccaneers host the Cowboys in a Monday night Wildcard matchup in primetime and then finish up your night with the final NBA game, a 10:30 tilt with the Rockets visiting the Lakers. The tank is on for the Rockets in the race for Wembanyama and they’ve now lost 10 straight games, most of which have come in blowout fashion. Kevin Porter Jr. remains day-to-day with his ankle injury while Jalen Green will return from his one-game suspension tonight. The Lakers have lost three straight after a ridiculously bad Russell Westbrook potential game-winner was blocked by Joel Embiid on Sunday night. Westy still had a nice triple-double in that game and LeBron James went off for 35 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists. Make sure everyone is playing for the Lakers after they went late last night, although, somehow, LeBron is not on today’s injury report. Top performer bodysurfoceanside is sticking with the Over of 235.5 points and we think the Lakers will take care of business at home tonight, as long as LeBron plays.
Picks: Over 235.5 and Lakers -5.5
