Sunday Night Football: Best Bet, Best Prop & +255 Same Game Parlay

Best Bet

Normally we stay away from betting the favourite at the spread when it’s in double digits due to the danger of a late backdoor cover. There are a five factors that have us interested here though.

1. The danger of a backdoor cover normally happens when the favoured team gets complacent and lets in scores late in the game. We don’t think that will be the case here, with the Chiefs highly motivated to prove themselves after only being at 5-2. They are also a team that have a habit of winning as heavy favourites. They’ve covered a line over -7 in each of their last 14 attempts.

2. The Chiefs are coming off a bye and should be well rested. A well-rested Mohomes led offense are able to score.

3. The Titans are coming into this game with 5 wins and 5 wins against the spread. But, they haven’t beaten anyone of note. Colts twice, Texans, Commanders and Raiders.

4. The Titans offense will be led by either Tannehill, who is currently listed as questionable at the time of writing due to an ankle injury, or Malik Willis. Neither option is going to be able to score in a significant enough way up against a fresh Mahomes led offense.

We think Patrick Mahomes is just hitting his straps this season. He’s recorded over 292 passing yards in each of the Chiefs last three games. Coming into this game fresh will only help him further.
