NHL Tuesday 8 Nov: 4 Best Bets & a +916 Parlay

Welcome to our Tuesday Night NHL Betting Preview. We’ve identified four best bets, and combined three of them into a +916 Parlay. Hopefully you tailed our +738 NBA Parlay last night and have a hefty bankroll to play on these picks tonight. Let's dive in.
Calgary Flames @ New Jersey Devils
The recent record of the Flames is bad, losing the last 5 outright and 5 at the spread. The Devils on the other hand have won all of their last 5 outright and at the spread. One of those wins was in fact against the Flames on the Saturday just gone. It looks like an obvious bet for the Devils here. But we’re going against the recent form and favouring the long term form. The rosters of each team haven’t changed dramatically from last year, where the Flames finished top of the Pacific division with a 50-21 record. The Devils on the other hand finished 2nd bottom of the Metropolitan Division and 27-46. Bud Deluxe (16-9 and 17% ROI) is taking the Calgary Flames at the Moneyline, and we are too.
Pick: Calgary Flames Moneyline
Montreal Canadiens @ Detroit Red Wings
The 5-7 Canadiens face off against the 7-5 Red Wings. The Red Wings head into this game off the back of three wins, while the Canadiens are coming off three pretty disappointing losses. The Canadiens defense has seemed particularly weak; they’ve allowed 401 shots on goal in 12 game and have conceded over 3 goals per game. Oolan (15-11 and 24% ROI) is taking the Red Wings at the -1.5 Puck Line.
Pick: Red Wings -1.5
New York Islanders @ New York Rangers
The balance between two good defences and two relatively weak offences have us looking to the Under here. The Islanders rank 6th best in Goals allowed, while the Rangers rank 12th best. This is particularly impressive for the Rangers who have been involved in a league high 3 OT losses. Oolan (15-11 and 24% ROI) is Under 6, and we’re tailing.
Pick: Game Total Under 6
Edmonton Oilers @ Tampa Bay Lightning
The Oilers are playing back to back on the road here. Particularly tough when you’re on the back of three losses, and three losses at the puck line. We think the Lightning can capitalize on what will have to be a tired Oilers squad. Bud Deluxe (16-9 and 17% ROI) is taking Tampa Bay Lightning at the -1.5 Puck Line.
Pick: Tampa Bay Lightning -1.5
