UFC 327 Best Bets and Predictions

A ton of sports are set to take place over the weekend, including The Masters golf tournament and the conclusion of the NBA regular season. On top of that, the UFC is set for its next big event, that being UFC 327.

UFC 327 emanates from the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida on Saturday, April 11th. A total of 12 fights will take place across the early preliminaries, preliminaries, and main card, which will include a main event between Jiri Prochazka and Carlos Ulberg for the UFC Light Heavyweight title, which is currently held by Prochazka. Let’s break down our three UFC 327 best bets and predictions for this weekend’s bouts.

Pick #1: Carlos Ulberg ML over Jiri Prochazka (-108)

Pick #2: Azamat Murzakanov ML over Paulo Costa (-205)

Pick #3: Cub Swanson vs. Nate Landwehr: Fight to go the Distance - No (-130)

PICK #1: Carlos Ulberg ML over Jiri Prochazka (-108)

Our first UFC 327 best bet will target Carlos Ulberg to defeat Jiri Prochazka in the main event to become the new UFC Light Heavyweight champion. Ulberg enters this fight with an MMA record of 14-1 and is 10-1 in the UFC. His most recent win in the UFC came against Dominick Reyes by KO/TKO back in September 2025.

Ulberg has competed in the UFC since 2020 and is known for his elite striking ability. He is averaging 6.54 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 55%. This is compared to his decent-at-best grappling ability, in which he is averaging 0.55 takedowns every 15 minutes.

Prochazka is the slight favorite, considering he is the current UFC Light Heavyweight champion. That said, Prochazka is a mediocre 3-2 in his last five UFC fights, while Ulberg has won his last nine UFC fights in a row. Further, Ulberg has the advantage in striking volume and absorbs far fewer strikes compared to Prochazka. For that reason, backing Ulberg to win will be our best bet.

PICK #2: Azamat Murzakanov ML over Paulo Costa (-205)

Our second pick for UFC 327 will look for Azamat Murzakanov to defeat Paulo Costa in the co-main event. Murzakanov enters this fight with an MMA record of 16-0 and is 7-0 in the UFC. His most recent UFC fight resulted in a win against Aleksander Rakic back in October 2025 by KO/TKO. Murzakanov has only been in the UFC since 2021, but has proven to be an elite striker. He is averaging 4.70 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 57%. 

Even though Murzakanov is the heavy favorite in this fight, he looks to be the best betting option. Not only is Murakanov perfect in the UFC, but Costa is in poor form recently, going 2-4 in his last six fights inside the octagon. Additionally, Murzakanov has absorbed far fewer strikes and has never been knocked out. Given this, backing Murzakanov to win is my play.

PICK #3: Cub Swanson vs. Nate Landwehr: Fight to go the Distance - No (-130)

Our final UFC 327 best bet will target the main-card fight between Cub Swanson and Nate Landwehr, and for that bout to end inside the distance. Swanson enters this fight with an MMA record of 30-14 and is 20-13 in the UFC. His most recent UFC fight was a win against Billy Quarantillo by KO/TKO back in December 2024.

As for Landwehr, he enters this fight with an MMA record of 18-7 and 5-5 in the UFC. He most recently lost to Morgan Charriere back in July 2025 by KO/TKO.

If there is one constant between these two fighters, it is that their fights tend to end inside the distance. Swanson has seen five of his last seven UFC fights fail to go to the judges, while Landwehr has seen seven of his 10 career UFC fights do the same, which includes his last three in a row.

Further, Swanson has not fought in the UFC in about a year and a half, meaning fatigue may set in towards the end as well. Backing this fight to end inside the distance is our best bet.
