Wednesday features a 10-game NBA slate and we’ll take a closer look at two of them as the Hawks visit the Thunder and the Grizzlies visit the Warriors without Steven Adams.

The Hawks were streaking, winning five straight games before falling at home to Charlotte on Saturday and then losing at Chicago on Monday. The Hawks are 11-14 on the road this season and Onyeka Okongwu (hamstring) and De’Andre Hunter (illness) are both questionable tonight. The Hawks suffered a fourth-quarter meltdown against the Bulls and Chicago won the quarter 33-22 for a 111-100 win. Trae Young led the way with 21 points and 13 assists but missed all five of his 3-pointers, Dejounte Murray added 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists and Clint Capela had 16 points, 12 rebounds, two steals and two blocks in the loss. All five starters scored in double figures and the Hawks will have to bring their A Game to beat the Thunder tonight.

OKC has won seven of their last 10 games, five of their last six and have beaten some very good teams recently. Their list of victims includes the Nuggets, Nets and Sixers on the road and the Celtics at home. They’re 14-9 at home and any thoughts of them tanking for Victor Wembanyama died a long time ago. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, Lu Dort, Isaiah Joe and Jalen Williams have all been playing well for the Thunder of late and SGA, in addition to scoring 34 and 37 points in each of his last two games, is averaging 30.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.7 steals, 1.2 blocks and 0.9 3-pointers on 55 percent shooting in January. Giddey is almost as hot, averaging 19.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 0.5 steals and 1.2 triples on 53 percent shooting this month.

Top Oddscrowd betting performer Rawluciano likes the Thunder Moneyline tonight and we also love the fact the Thunder are getting the 1.5 points at home. They’ve also been resting since Sunday and should be ready to run tonight after playing six of their last seven games on the road. The Hawks were at Chicago on Monday and had to fly to OKC for this one, so they might be dealing with some jet lag.

Pick: Thunder +1.5

Prop 1: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 29.5 points (scored 35 vs. Hawks in last meeting)

Prop 2: Clint Capela Over 26.5 points and rebounds (Okongwu might not play)

Prop 3: Dejounte Murray Over 1.5 3-pointers (he’s hit at least two in six of his last seven games)

The Grizzlies have lost three straight games (all on the road) and will be trying desperately to get a road W tonight as the chatter about their issues away from Memphis continues to grow louder. Steven Adams is out until at least early March with a knee injury so the trio of Brandon Clarke, Santi Aldama and Xavier Tillman will have to step up tonight, along with Jaren Jackson Jr., who has emerged as a fantasy monster this season. Ja Morant has scored 29 or fewer points in five straight games but will be looking to get back on the 30-train tonight after torching the Dubs for 36 points, seven rebounds and eight assists (51 PAR) on Christmas Day. Adams has been on a rebounding tear, hitting double figures in three straight games and in seven of his last 10. JJJ will have to step up tonight and that’s a big ask since he’s only hit double figures in rebounds in three of his last 16 games. But with Adams out of the way, he should have a clearer path to rebounds tonight. But it is a little unsettling that he only had five rebounds on Monday, when Adams was sitting out.

The Warriors are 17-6 at home and take a lot of pride defending their turf so Memphis will have its hands full tonight. The wrapped up a five-game road trip on Friday and then lost a close one at home to the Nets on Sunday by a score of 120-116. Stephen Curry had 41 points at Washington on Jan. 16 and then scored 29 and 26 points in his next two. Klay Thompson kicked January off with a 54-point bonanza and is averaging 27 points and nearly five triples a game this month, but hit just 4-of-17 shots for 10 points against the Nets on Sunday. He’ll be looking to bounce back tonight. Jordan Poole has been the other spark plug for the Dubs and is averaging 24.5 points this month. Jonathan Kuminga hit 9-of-15 shots for 20 points on Monday and is back after sitting out most of the month with a foot injury, so he might be a sneaky play off the bench tonight. Andrew Wiggins is back after missing most of December with an adductor injury and was playing well before Sunday’s four-point dud against the Nets. He should bounce back tonight but hasn’t scored more than 20 points in a game since Dec. 3 against the Rockets when he had 36 points just before the injury. He’s also dealing with a sore foot but should be ready tonight.

Oddscrowd top performing bettor Rawluciano likes the Warriors Moneyline tonight and it’s tough to bet against Golden State at home. But the Grizzlies are desperate and can’t lose every time they’re away.

Pick: Grizzlies +3.5

Prop 1: Ja Morant Over 44.5 points, rebounds and assists

Prop 2: Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 23.5 points and rebounds

Prop 3: Jordan Poole Over 21.5 points
