After a busy night in the NBA that saw the Lakers get cheated in Boston, the Jazz barely cover the spread against the Mavs and a battle of MVP candidates Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic in Philadelphia (Sixers won), there are only four Sunday games on the slate. That will allow most of the world to focus on football, but here’s a look at all four Sunday games with previews, injury news, picks and some prop bets we like.

The Heat visit Charlotte for the early game and both teams come in with most of the regulars healthy. Miami’s coming in hot, winners of three straight and seven of their last nine games. Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro, Victor Oladipo and Kyle Lowry have all been solid contributors for the Heat of late and they lead the season series 2-0 after back-to-back wins in Miami back in November. Jimmy Butler scored 35 in Game 1, had eight assists in each game, one of which was an overtime thriller and the other a blowout win. In Game 2, Max Strus had 31 points and Bam Adebayo had 14 and 15 rebounds in the two games. Herro missed both of those games, which is what allowed Strus to get loose for his best game of the season, but Herro will be back out there in the starting lineup today. Lowry is a shell of his former self at age 36 and we’d rather mess with backup point guard Gabe Vincent in fantasy and reality.

The Hornets are having a successful tank this season but still trail the Rockets and Pistons in the great ping-pong ball race for Victor Wembanyama. However, they’re accidentally hot, winning three of their last five, one of which was a road win at Atlanta last Saturday. Terry Rozier has led the team in scoring in five straight games, while LaMelo Ball, P.J. Washington, Mason Plumlee, Gordon Hayward, Jalen McDaniels and Mark Williams have all been contributing for Charlotte. The win against the Bulls on Thursday was interesting, as LaMelo hit just 2-of-15 shots but still managed to have 15 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists. Plumlee was a key with 21 points and 12 rebounds on 9-of-9 shooting and Rozier had 28 points.

In the earlier first game against Miami, Kelly Oubre Jr. led the way with 29 points, Rozier scored 22 and LaMelo was out with an injury, allowing Dennis Smith Jr. to start. Game 2 again saw Rozier and Oubre leading the way, but Oubre’s been out since December after undergoing left hand surgery.

Both teams could struggle with the early start and the Hornets shouldn’t have a lot of interest in winning this game. Top Oddscrowd performing bettor MarySD likes the Heat Moneyline and we are also looking for the Heat to make it four straight Ws with another one today.

Pick: Heat Moneyline

Prop 1: Mason Plumlee Over 26.5 points, rebounds and assists

Prop 2: Jimmy Butler Over 21.5 points

Prop 3: Terry Rozier Over 20.5 points

The Pacers haven’t looked right since Tyrese Haliburton went down with a knee and wrist injury a couple weeks ago and they’re just 1-9 over their last 10 games. They’ve also fallen to the No. 9 seed and are flirting with not only missing the playoffs, but also getting a very bland draft pick, which is the worst combo possible. They signed Myles Turner to a two-year extension on Friday and have decided they’re going to roll with the squad they have and try to win it all. But they’ll need Haliburton healthy before that will be a real possibility.

They faced the Grizzlies in Indy on Jan. 14, suffering a 130-112 home loss where Chris Duarte led the team with 25 points, rookie Bennedict Mathurin scored 16 and backup point guard T.J. McConnell had 13 points, eight rebounds and 11 assists in 24 minutes. McConnell has been pretty incredible while filling in for Haliburton and is flirting with triple-doubles on a nightly basis.

All five Pacer starters scored in double figures against the Bucks on Friday, including Duarte, while Mathurin came off the bench for 21 points to stay hot. Mathurin has gotten himself into the Rookie of the Year discussion and has scored at least 21 in four straight, and in double figures 10 straight games.

The Grizzlies will likely be without Steven Adams (knee) and Desmond Bane (knee), while Danny Green’s (knee) season debut probably isn’t happening today. Bane led the team with 25 points in that earlier meeting so others are going to have to pick up his slack tonight. Ja Morant had 23 points and 10 assists in that one but nothing on the box score popped, as it was a balanced attack and win for the Grizz. Morant hasn’t hit 30 points in seven straight games so you have to think he could be due for a scoring explosion at home tonight.

Nine and a ½ points are a lot to ask for a team missing Adams and Bane, and the Pacers aren’t that bad.

Pick: Pacers +9.5

Prop 1: Ja Morant Over 30.5 points

Prop 2: Myles Turner Over 27.5 points and rebounds

Prop 3: Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 18.5 points

The Clippers are rolling now that Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are both healthy and have won five straight games. It’s been the PG and Kawhi show, with both of them leading the LAC scoring in all five games and they also beat the Cavs back in early November. George led the way with 26 in that one, Kawhi sat out, and Marcus Morris, Reggie Jackson, Terence Mann, Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac all played well in that one. Marcus Morris is dealing with a rib injury and could miss his third straight game, and Robert Covington was out on Saturday for personal reasons. Be sure to check on their status before setting lineups or placing wagers.

It should be more of the PG and Kawhi show today, as George has been playing at a high level in four straight games, and Leonard has scored at least 30 points in five of his last nine games. Meanwhile, Mann has cooled off and Powell is coming on again for the Clippers.

The Cavaliers are listing Donovan Mitchell as questionable for this one due to his lingering groin injury, as well as Kevin Love (back). The line could move if Mitchell is ruled in or out and he last played in Tuesday’s loss to the Knicks. He’s missed five of his last six games and could sit for a third straight tonight if he can’t go. Caris LeVert has filled in nicely for Mitchell at times, but hit just 1-of-12 shots in Friday’s loss to the Thunder and is 28-of-73 (38 percent) over his last six games.

Darius Garland has been carrying the scoring load with Mitchell hurting, had 31 points, 13 assists and four steals on Friday and is averaging 23.7 points and 8.9 dimes this month Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen have also been playing well for the Cavs, who have gone just 2-4 over their last six.

The Clippers are rolling and with Mitchell hurting, the Cavs winning by seven points or more doesn’t appear to be all that likely, even though they're at home.

Pick: Clippers +6.5

Props weren’t available at press time for this one but we like Garland, Mobley and Leonard overs if Mitchell is out again tonight.

The Pelicans are reeling, losing seven straight games, but C.J. McCollum has been rolling, leading the team in scoring in eight of their last 10 games. Zion Williamson has been out with a hamstring injury, which is the source of most of their problems, and he’s out again tonight. Brandon Ingram is finally back from his toe injury and had 22 points on Saturday, but hit just 8-of-22 shots against the Wizards. Whether Ingram is available tonight remains to be seen and his absence will be noticeable if he can't go. Additionally, Jonas Valanciunas was thrown out of Saturday's game and the rest of the team struggled to do much.

Meanwhile, the Bucks have won five of their last six games and three straight, including a solid effort against the Nuggets on Wednesday. Giannis Antetokounmpo has played in three straight despite a knee issue and is listed as probable for tonight. Giannis has scored 41, 33 and 29 points in each of his last three games, grabbing 12, 14 and 12 rebounds in them, as well. Bobby Portis is out with a knee injury so Brook Lopez will have to handle most of the work in the paint for the Bucks. In Friday’s win at Indy, Jrue Holiday just missed a triple-double with 20 points, nine rebounds and nine assists, Khris Middleton came off the bench for 17, Lopez had 15, Pat Connaughton scored 14 and Grayson Allen added 13 points in a balanced attack. Holiday may have some extra motivation tonight going against his former team.

The Bucks won their previous meeting with the Pelicans 128-119 and Giannis racked up 42 points and 10 boards in that one just before Christmas. Lopez had 30 points and 10 rebounds in that one and Holiday double-doubled with 18 points and 11 dimes.

Ten points are a lot but the Bucks are rolling and at home and the Pelicans are banged up.

Pick: Bucks -10

Prop 1: Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 44.5 points and rebounds

Prop 2: Jrue Holiday Over 32.5 points, rebounds and assists

Prop 3: Props aren’t out for the Pelicans yet but we like C.J. McCollum to score a bunch of points tonight.
