NFL Week 8 Sunday Best Betting Picks

Week 8 of the 2025 NFL regular season began with Thursday Night Football between the Vikings and Chargers. Now it’s time to look ahead toward a jam-packed Sunday slate. An 11-game lineup includes Giants vs. Eagles, Bills vs. Panthers, Cowboys vs. Broncos and the Aaron Rodgers Bowl between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. Let’s get into our NFL best bets for the Week 8 schedule.

NFL Week 8 Predictions

Pick #1: Cleveland Browns vs. New England Patriots Over 40.5 (-105) Click Here to Bet

Pick #2: Atlanta Falcons -7.5 over Miami Dolphins (-108) Click Here to Bet

Pick #3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints Under 47 (-110) Click Here to Bet

PICK #1: Browns vs. Patriots Over 40.5 (-105) Click Here to Bet

It is true that the Browns boast a solid defense, but the Patriots can still find success on Sunday behind red-hot quarterback Drake Maye. The former North Carolina standout has been awesome so far in year two, completing an incredible 75.2 percent of his passes for 1,744 yards with 12 touchdowns and only two interceptions. He has also rushed for 200 yards and two TDs.

Cleveland has been outstanding against the run, but it is nothing special against the pass. The defense allows 6.7 yards per pass attempt, which is in the middle of the pack in the NFL. It has also given up 12 scores through the air, which is worse than the league average. On the other side of the ball, Browns running back Quinshon Judkins should be able to do some damage. The second-round pick out of Ohio State has rushed 109 times for 467 yards and five touchdowns. He has racked up at least 84 yards in four of the last five games, including 110 against Minnesota. Cleveland scored 31 points last weekend (sure, it was against Miami – but still...), so it should be able to ride that momentum to post a decent number at New England’s expense.

PICK #2: Falcons -7.5 over Dolphins (-110) Click Here to Bet

There are not a ton of good things to say about the Falcons, but they have two things going for them: they will play this game at home and they will play against the Dolphins. It is complete dysfunction in Miami, where the record stands at 1-6 and star receiver Tyreek Hill is out for the year. The fact that head coach Mike McDaniel was not fired following last week’s 31-6 loss to the Browns is surprising, if not downright shocking.

The Falcons are a far more talented outfit, even if they have not put it all together so far in 2025. At Mercedes-Benz Stadium, however, Atlanta has been successful – highlighted by wins over Washington and Buffalo. More of the same should continue because this is a fantastic matchup for running back Bijan Robinson and the Falcons’ offense. The Dolphins are dead last in run defense in the entire NFL, giving up 159.3 such yards per contest on 5.2 yards per carry (fourth worst in the league).

PICK #3: Buccaneers vs. Saints Under 47 (-110) Click Here to Bet

The Saints’ offense does not inspire any confidence. New Orleans has scored fewer than 20 points five times this year and has scored more than 21 points just once – when it benefited from five turnovers by the Giants. Spencer Rattler is nothing more than a game manager, but he failed to even do that last week – throwing three interceptions during a 26-14 loss to the Bears.

Running back Alvin Kamara, receiver Chris Olave and tight end Juwan Johnson are all listed as questionable for this weekend. The Bucs, who are also banged up in a big way, are coming off a nine-point effort in their last game and are playing on a short week after losing to the Lions on Monday Night Football. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Bucky Irving are all out.
