Pick #2: Tennessee Titans +4.5 over Las Vegas Raiders (-110) Click Here to Bet
Pick #3: Detroit Lions vs. Kansas City Chiefs Over 52.5 (-110) Click Here to Bet
PICK #1: Patriots vs. Saints Under 46 (-110) Click Here to Bet
Neither offense – especially that of the Saints – inspires a whole lot of confidence. New Orleans is No. 27 in the NFL in scoring offense and No. 24 in total offense through five weeks. Running back Alvin Kamara remains the focal point of the offense since quarterback Spencer Rattler is nothing more than a game manager, but Kamara is 30 years old and continues to be plagued by injury issues. In fact, Kamara is questionable for Sunday due to an ankle problem. Meanwhile, Rattler averages only 5.6 yards per pass attempt. As for the Patriots, they are No. 27 in rushing offense (95.2 ypg) on 3.7 yards per attempt. Their highest single-game individual rusher is Rhamondre Stevenson with 54 yards in Week 2. This could be a good matchup for New Orleans’ defense, a unit that ranks No. 7 league wide against the pass and No. 3 in yards per pass attempt allowed (5.6). The Pats may not find a whole lot of success either on the ground or through the air.
PICK #2: Titans +4.5 over Raiders (-110) Click Here to Bet
The Raiders are 1-4 and riding a four-game losing streak. They have been competitive at times but were embarrassed 40-6 by Indianapolis in Week 5. Tight end Brock Bowers is one of Las Vegas' two best players along with Maxx Crosby, but Bowers (knee) has not practiced this week and is currently questionable. The former Georgia standout is trending toward missing a second consecutive contest. That is bad news for QB Geno Smith, who has three more interceptions than touchdowns (nine to six). Although the Titans are nothing special, they at least have some momentum after erasing a 21-6 deficit in the fourth quarter to prevail 22-21 at Arizona this past Sunday.
PICK #3: Lions vs. Chiefs Over 52.5 (-110) Click Here to Bet
As expected, the Lions are an offensive juggernaut. They are No. 1 in the entire NFL in scoring at 34.8 points per game and No. 6 in total offense at 365.0 yards per game. Detroit has scored 52, 38, 34 and 37 points in its last four contests since its season-opening loss at Green Bay. Quarterback Jared Goff looks like an MVP candidate, completing a whopping 75.2 percent of his attempts while boasting a 12-to-2 touchdown-to-interception ratio. Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery are now tied for the record for most games in which a running back duo on the same team has scored at least one touchdown in the same game (14). They have a real chance to break the record against a Chiefs defense that allows 4.8 yards per carry and has given up six touchdowns on the ground through five weeks.
Kansas City should also be able to contribute to a successful over bet. Mahomes may not be at his very best these days, but he is still playing well – with five touchdown passes in the last two games. Also, stories of Travis Kelce’s demise are greatly exaggerated. The veteran tight end has caught 12 of 13 targets for 109 yards and one touchdown in the past two contests.
