NFL Week 15 Touchdown Scorer best bets

Week 14 in the NFL proved to be eventful once again, and the Week 15 action gives us a plethora of exciting games set to take place on Sunday. Among those matchups on the docket is a potential Super Bowl preview in Detroit Lions vs Buffalo Bills, plus we also have Pittsburgh Steelers vs Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers vs Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football. As we jump into this loaded Week 15 slate, let’s take a look at our trio of touchdown scorer best bets for this Sunday’s NFL action.
NFL Week 15 Touchdown Predictions
Pick #1: Mark Andrews to score a touchdown (+180)
Pick #2: AJ Brown to score a touchdown (+130)
Pick #3: James Cook to score the first touchdown (+750)
Pick #1: Mark Andrews to score a touchdown (+180)
One of the most favorable matchups of the week comes at MetLife Stadium, as the Baltimore Ravens enter this game off a bye week, while the New York Giants have been hit with a rash of key injuries, as part of one of their worst seasons in franchise history. The Giants’ offense has been miserable all year long, and it doesn’t help matters that Tommy DeVito is back under center for New York this weekend against a Ravens defense that is desperately looking for a spot to get right.
However, the matchup that we like the most in this game is the Baltimore offense against a beleaguered Giants defense. New York is going to be without Dexter Lawrence for this game, and that should allow the Ravens to completely have their way with them. This Ravens offense is already a juggernaut, and a massive step up in class for the Giants compared to Dallas and New Orleans. Mark Andrews and Lamar Jackson have been in sync lately, with Andrews catching seven touchdowns over his last eight games played. Look for that momentum to continue against a wretched Giants team on Sunday.
Pick #2: AJ Brown to score a touchdown (+130)
While the Eagles escaped a difficult game against the Carolina Panthers a week ago, it certainly didn’t come without drama. Philadelphia’s top wideout — AJ Brown — was quoted a week ago as saying the passing game was an issue for the Eagles, and whenever a wide receiver of his caliber makes serious noise in the media it usually means one thing; an increased number of targets the following week.
It’s not like Brown isn’t worthy of the extra attention. After all, the former Titans receiver has racked up eight games of at least 65 receiving yards this season. Philadelphia is also undefeated when he plays, as Brown typically gives Jalen Hurts a much-needed outlet through the air to balance out the high usage rate of Saquon Barkley in the Eagles’ ground attack. With only one touchdown over his last seven games played and facing a stout Pittsburgh defense, Brown doesn’t look like an ideal candidate to score this week. With that said, the Eagles are going to be hunting for explosive plays through the air against a Steelers defense that just allowed plenty of explosiveness against the Commanders and Bengals in recent weeks. Let’s back the frustrated wideout to find the end zone on Sunday.
Pick #3: James Cook first touchdown scorer (+750)
The insertion of Joe Brady as the Bills' offensive coordinator has completely unleashed James Cook within this offense. The top running back on this Buffalo team has racked up 12 touchdowns this season and has picked up five touchdowns over his last four games played. Cook is also the beneficiary of sharing a backfield with Josh Allen, who is often going to be shown a ton of attention by opposing defenses in the red zone. There’s also the matter of the game at hand for this week, as Cook is facing a Lions defense that is dealing with a rash of injuries all over their front seven, a factor that presents a pretty favorable matchup for him on Sunday.
While the Lions are coming off extended rest, this is still a defense that struggled against the run a week ago, allowing three touchdowns to Josh Jacobs and a Green Bay offense that has been heavily reliant on the run in recent weeks. Given that the Bills’ defense is likely fatigued following a brutal game in Los Angeles where they played a ton of snaps against a good offense, it would make sense for Buffalo’s coaching staff to look to get the ground game going early and often in this one. After Detroit just surrendered three touchdowns to Jacobs a week ago, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Cook racked up multiple touchdowns this week, including the first one of the game.
