NFL Week 12 Sunday Best Picks 

Week 12 of the 2025 NFL regular season got underway with a showdown in the AFC between the Bills and Texans on Thursday Night Football. Now it’s time to look ahead toward a jam-packed Sunday slate. A 12-game lineup includes Steelers vs Bears, Colts vs Chiefs, Eagles vs Cowboys and Buccaneers vs Rams on Sunday Night Football. 

Here are our best bets for the Week 12 schedule. 

NFL Week 12 Predictions 

• PICK #1: Chicago Bears -2.5 (-115) vs Pittsburgh Steelers
• PICK #2: Jacksonville Jaguars -2.5 (-122) vs Arizona Cardinals 
• PICK #3: Atlanta Falcons vs New Orleans Saints Under 39.5 (-110) 

PICK #1: Bears -2.5 (-115) vs Steelers

Break up the Bears! Since beginning the season 0-2, they have won seven of their last eight games to improbably find themselves atop the NFC North standings. Chicago’s offense is rolling behind new head coach Ben Johnson and second-year signal-caller Caleb Williams. They are No. 4 in the league overall at 373.8 yards per game and No. 8 in scoring (25.8 PPG).

Williams has accounted for 16 total touchdowns while throwing just four interceptions. His counterpart this week will either be a 41-year-old who has a fracture in his left wrist (Aaron Rodgers) or a backup who has 29 TDs and 20 INTs in 32 lifetime appearances (Mason Rudolph). Moreover, Pittsburgh’s defense is No. 28 overall in the NFL and dead last against the pass (261.7 yards allowed per game). 

PICK #2: Jaguars -2.5 (-122) vs Cardinals

The Cardinals are every bit as cold as the Bears are hot. In fact, their trends are the exact opposite. Arizona started the year 2-0 and has since lost seven of its last eight games. Head coach Jonathan Gannon’s squad has dropped its last two contests by 19 points or more. Why are the Cards getting less than a field goal in this matchup? Well, they are playing at home. Unfortunately for them, Arizona is not exactly a difficult place to play – and the numbers show it.

The Cardinals have lost four consecutive contests at State Farm Stadium, including to a Titans team that is currently 1-9. Jacksonville, on the other hand, is 6-4 and has won two of its last three games after humiliating the Chargers 35-6 this past weekend. The Jaguars are averaging more than 30 points per game over their last three outings, and the Cardinals have allowed more than 40 points in back-to-back games. Jacksonville RB Travis Etienne has rushed for three TDs in the past two weeks and now faces a Cardinals defense that has yielded 11 scores on the ground so far in 2025. 

PICK #3: Falcons vs Saints Under 39.5 (-110)

It’s hard to have any confidence in either offense for what will probably be a borderline unwatchable NFC South battle between Atlanta and New Orleans on Sunday. In the Saints’ case, their ineptitude is no surprise. They were always going to be in rebuilding mode, and that is exactly what they are doing with rookie quarterback Tyler Shough, currently running the show. In four appearances (three starts), the 26-year-old out of Louisville has completed 61.4% of his passes with three touchdowns and two interceptions. He has logged meaningful minutes in three games – in those three, New Orleans has scored a total of 30 points.

The Falcons’ offensive ineptitude has been alarming, and now QB Michael Penix Jr. is out for the year with a partially torn ACL – leaving the spoils to an apparently washed-up Kirk Cousins. Wide receiver Drake London will miss at least the next game due to a knee injury. Combine all of those issues with an offensive line that is in shambles, and you get an Atlanta offense that may not generate much of anything on Sunday.
