NFL Week 10 Player Prop Picks

NFL Week 10 Player Prop Picks
Week 9 of the NFL slate is in the books, and it was another chaotic weekend of football that produced plenty of compelling games. The Week 10 card features several interesting games across both conferences, including the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles vs. Green Bay Packers, among others.
We posted a 1-2 week in this column a week ago, which brings us to 15-11 on the season. This week, our expert has three more player prop bets picked out for Sunday’s action. As we dive into this Week 10 slate, it’s time to get into our best player prop bets for this week’s NFL games.
NFL Week 10 Player Prop Bets
Pick #1: Colston Loveland (CHI) over 28.5 receiving yards (-110)
Pick #2: JJ McCarthy (MIN) to throw an interception (-110)
Pick #3: Justin Herbert (LAC) over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-150)
PICK #1: Colston Loveland (CHI) over 28.5 receiving yards (-110)
For our first pick in this week’s column, we're going with Colston Loveland to clear his receiving yards prop for the third straight game. Loveland’s role within the Bears offense has increased in recent weeks, culminating in a game against the Bengals last week in which he finished with six receptions for 118 yards and two touchdowns. With Cole Kmet’s status for this game uncertain, Loveland should see more success against a Giants defense that has struggled mightily against tight ends all season long. It wouldn’t shock us if the rookie tight end put up another big game on Sunday.
PICK #2: J.J. McCarthy (MIN) to throw an interception (-110)
For our second pick in this column, let’s target J.J. McCarthy to throw an interception. The Vikings rookie quarterback was back as the starter last week and while Minnesota won the game, McCarthy threw an interception for the third time in as many games played this season. With four interceptions on the year, we can expect McCarthy to put the ball in harm's way. Expecting the Vikings to be in a negative gamescript against the Ravens, he may be forced to throw more – which makes him that much more likely to throw a pick. Until he proves he can play mistake-free football, fading McCarthy in this market is the only play we can make.
PICK #3: Justin Herbert (LAC) over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-150)
For our final pick in this week’s column, we will go back to the well with Justin Herbert to throw at least two passing touchdowns for yet another week. Ever since the Chargers suffered a few key offensive line injuries — most notably to Joe Alt — Herbert has been under constant duress, though he has stepped his game up when it comes to finding the end zone through the air. The Oregon product has now thrown for two or more touchdowns in each of the last four games, and he should have a favorable matchup on hand this week against a Steelers defense that has been a very poor unit against the pass this season – ranking inside the bottom five in nearly every meaningful statistic. Look for Herbert to keep putting up numbers, regardless of if the Chargers manage to win the game.
