NFL Thanksgiving 2025 Picks and Best Bets for Week 13

Following an exciting slate of football in Week 12, the 2025 NFL season rolls on with a Week 13 card that features a number of highly anticipated matchups, including a trio of terrific games for us to enjoy on Thanksgiving Day. A massive showdown in the NFC North kicks things off with the Packers vs Lions, before the Dallas Cowboys play host to the Kansas City Chiefs. The day wraps up with Joe Burrow set to make his return for the Cincinnati Bengals as they head to Baltimore to meet the rejuvenated Ravens on Thursday Night Football.

Let’s break down our NFL Thanksgiving predictions and three best bets for this loaded slate of Turkey Day action in the NFL.

Pick #1: Green Bay Packers vs Detroit Lions Under 49.5 (-110) Click Here to Bet

Each of these teams has struggled for consistency on a week-to-week basis, as Detroit really misses Ben Johnson as its offensive coordinator, while the Packers are also searching for better performances from their offense in recent weeks. With that in mind, even though games involving Detroit at Ford Field have had the propensity to sail over the total, this is an instance where a lower-scoring game could be in the cards.

Detroit racked up 34 points against the Giants a week ago, but the final score didn’t tell the entire story, as this Lions offense struggled more than you would expect against a poor New York run defense. This week, the Packers present a much tougher matchup, and we saw Green Bay completely bottle up Goff, Gibbs and company back in Week 1. On the other side, the Packers’ offense is dealing with some injuries at the skill positions and Green Bay is still very much a run-first operation at the moment.

Pick #2: Chiefs vs Cowboys Over 51.5 (-110) Click Here to Bet

In what should be the most-watched game of the day, we’re inclined to take the over in this matchup between the Chiefs and Cowboys on Thursday. Kansas City has been taking steps forward on offense in recent weeks, and the Chiefs should get a favorable matchup against a Cowboys defense that is improved, but is now likely being a bit overrated in the market following a solid showing in a win over the Eagles last week. Patrick Mahomes and company should stay ahead of the chains and put up at least 27 points in this one. 

On the other side, this Cowboys offense is one of the most efficient units in football, and given the fact that Dak Prescott is playing at an MVP level, it’s hard to see the Chiefs completely bottling up Dallas in a game that should feature plenty of fireworks. Let’s take the over in Big D.

Pick #3: Bengals vs Ravens Under 52.5 (-110) Click Here to Bet

To close out the Thanksgiving Day slate, we’ll take the under in this AFC North matchup between the Bengals and Ravens. Baltimore has rounded into form defensively in recent weeks, but the Ravens' offense has still not looked like themselves with Lamar Jackson working his way back from injury over the last month. Even against a struggling Bengals defense, we’re not convinced that Baltimore will get back on track in this one. On the other side, Cincinnati is getting back Ja’Marr Chase and Joe Burrow for this game, but that doesn’t mean the Bengals will suddenly pick up right where they left off at the start of the season. They could experience some teething problems, and even some slight issues should open the door for the under to cash against this lofty total.
