Pick #1: Ravens -3 over Commanders (-110)
Baltimore has quietly been one of the most efficient teams this preseason and their special teams have played a big part. Rookie kicker Tyler Loop, a sixth-round pick, has made six of eight field-goal attempts through two games – including three from 50+ yards – and drilled five of six in one outing, with long makes from 51 and 53 yards. That kind of leg strength and consistency under pressure is rare for a rookie and earns real confidence heading into Week 3.
On the defensive side, undrafted rookie Reuben Lowery kept pace by snagging an interception, strengthening his case for a roster spot over a player already in his second year of his contract. That’s the kind of playmaking depth the Ravens have leaned on before.
Washington has had bright spots – like a race-breaking run and some early rhythm with Jayden Daniels in the last game. However, the offense feels shaky in second-half situations. Execution falters once backups take over and their depth hasn't demonstrated the polished preparedness that Baltimore’s has. In a contest where backups on both sides will matter more than the big-name starters, leaning with Baltimore as a three-point favorite feels grounded and reliable.
Pick #2: Rams +7.5 over Browns (-110)
This line seems bloated in favor of Cleveland, despite Los Angeles showing far more through the eyes of a neutral observer. The Rams are unbeaten in the preseason at 2-0 and their most consistent contributor has been backup QB Stetson Bennett. Through two games, he’s compiled 512 passing yards, thrown five touchdowns, completed nearly 69% of his passes and is rocking a 105.7 passer rating. That’s awesome production from a third-stringer trying to make a mark while Matthew Stafford rests his back.
Cleveland is playing their starters in this one to begin with but I would not expect them to play more than a few drives. With that in mind, giving the Rams 7.5 points feels like catching the line too soft – especially with how Bennett and the young Rams receivers have looked more in sync and sharper than expected.
Pick #3: Seahawks +3 over Packers (-110)
Seattle enters Week 3 with real momentum from their preseason snaps. The defense has been especially aggressive – creating turnovers, flying to the ball and fundamentally dictating the pace.
On offense, the run game has really popped off for them. In their last game against the Chiefs, Zach Charbonnet had five carries for 45 yards and a touchdown. Plus, rookie running back Damien Martinez saw 11 carries for 55 yards. Seahawks OC Klint Kubiak is known for having a tremendous wide zone run scheme.
Meanwhile, Green Bay’s narrative has been one of self-inflicted wounds: too many penalties (19 in two games), particularly from the offensive line, undermining drives before they can gain steam. Their skill players have shown flashes of brilliance, but their overall flow and execution feel disjointed – something that matters a ton when backups carry most of the load.
Seattle’s already proving faster, cleaner and more composed. The Seahawks are expected to play Jalen Milroe almost all of the game. That does not bode well for the Packers, who are notorious for struggling against opposing rushing quarterbacks. The Seahawks getting three points feels like a steal in this one.
