NBA Game of the Night - Clippers @ Nuggets with a +970 Parlay

The Clippers visit the Nuggets for Sunday’s late game and it should be a great battle. Nikola Jokic, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard should all be healthy and ready to go for this one.

The injury report isn’t void of question marks though, as Clippers center Ivica Zubac (calf) has already been ruled out, Aaron Gordon (ribs) is out for Denver, and Jamal Murray (foot) and Michael Porter Jr. (heel) are both listed as probable for this evening.

Gordon’s absence should mean another start for Vlatko Cancar, who had scored in double figures in four straight games until a 1-of-5 shooting, two-point dud on Saturday against the Grizzlies. Mason Plumlee should get the start at center in place of Zubac and he had 10 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and a steal in 25 minutes in Friday’s crazy 176-175 OT loss to the Kings. Plumlee will have his hands full with Jokic tonight.

Leonard went off for 44 points and a full stat line on Friday, George scored 34 with 10 rebounds, and new Clipper Russell Westbrook started and went for 17 points and 14 assists in 39 minutes. Norm Powell stayed relevant off the bench with 24 points, Nicolas Batum scored 10, Terance Mann had 10 and Eric Gordon scored eight points in that one.

The Nuggets are coming off an ugly loss to Memphis on Saturday and MPJ hit just 2-of-10 shots for five points in that one. Nikola Jokic led the way with 15 points, 13 rebounds and three assists in what can only be described as a low-end double-double, Jeff Green scored 12 off the bench, and Christian Braun and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope each scored 11. The Nuggets hit just 40 percent of their shots, compared to the Grizzlies shooting 47 percent which was instrumental in them getting the win.

The Nuggets lead the series 3-0 thus far but will see a much different team tonight than they have in the past this season. The last time they met, Jokic was out and DeAndre Jordan started at center. Murray scored 24, MPJ had 22 and Gordon scored 17 in the 115-103 win. The Clippers were without George and had yet to acquire Westbrook in that one, and were led by Leonard’s 24 points.

Oddscrowd top performing bettor Weezlemm1 likes the Nuggets Moneyline tonight as they’ll be looking to complete the season sweep. We like taking the Clippers and the points, despite the absence of Zubac.

Pick: Clippers +3.5

+970 Same Game Parlay at FanDuel

Leg 1: Kawhi Leonard to score 30+ points - Leonard has scored 44, 16 and 33 in last three. If his shot's falling he should get to 30.

Leg 2: Paul George to score 25+ points - Has scored 34 and 26 in last two games and is healthy.

Leg 3: Nikola Jokic to score 15+ points - Scored 15 against Memphis Saturday but should have a much easier time with Plumlee.
