Hawks vs. Wizards Prediction, NBA Odds & Best Bets (11/4)

Fact checked at 7:28 AM ET, Nov 4, 2026
Odds as of 7:00 AM ET, Nov 4, 2026
First place in the Southeast is on the line at Capital One Arena at 7:00 PM ET, with the Wizards (4-3) a half-game ahead of the Hawks (4-4). We expect a quiet night from Atlanta's offense. Washington allows 107.4 points a game, fifth-fewest in the league, and the Hawks have scored 114, 99 and 108 in their last three. If they stay in that range, their two starting guards stay under their points lines and the game stays under the total.
Jalen Johnson (left ankle sprain) is questionable for Atlanta after missing the 108-104 win at Indiana. Alex Sarr (left knee soreness) is questionable for Washington after sitting out the 103-94 win at Orlando. Kingston Flemings is back for Atlanta after a one-game suspension.
Hawks vs. Wizards Predictions
- Pick #1: CJ McCollum Under 16.5 Points (-113)
- Pick #2: Dyson Daniels Under 11.5 Points (-125)
- Pick #3: Under 232.5 (-110)
PICK #1: CJ McCollum Under 16.5 Points (-113)
McCollum has scored 20, 13, 5, 14 and 13 in his last five starts, so he's under this number in four of them. Over all eight games this season he averages 14.3 and has stayed under 16.5 five times. At -113, the Under implies 53.1%.
Washington is why we like it tonight. The Wizards held Charlotte to 79 and Orlando to 94 in two of their last three games, and with Flemings back, Atlanta has another guard who needs the ball.
Johnson's status is the catch. In the one game he missed, McCollum played 32 minutes and took 17 shots, his most this season. He went 4-for-17 and still scored 13, but at his usual shooting that many attempts gets him past 16.5.
PICK #2: Dyson Daniels Under 11.5 Points (-125)
Atlanta doesn't need Daniels to score, and lately he hasn't. He has 6, 8, 4, 7 and 4 points in his last five starts despite playing 27 to 32 minutes a night. Across eight games he's under 11.5 six times and averages 9.8. Both of his overs, 20 at Orlando and 18 against Houston, came in Atlanta's first three games.
He hasn't taken more than 10 shots in any of his last five games, and he's 1-for-10 from three this season. Anything big has to come at the rim, against a defense giving up 107.4 a night. Even with Johnson out at Indiana, he scored only 6. The price is steeper here: -125 means you need this to win 55.6% of the time.
PICK #3: Under 232.5 (-110)
The total follows from the same argument. Ten of the 15 games these teams have played this season finished under 232.5, five of Washington's seven and five of Atlanta's eight. Washington's last three games produced 232, 174 and 197 total points.
The Under at -110 implies 52.4%. Atlanta's offense has cooled since a 132-125 opener at Orlando and a 128-81 rout at Charlotte, and Washington has held two of its last three opponents under 95.
The Hawks can still get hot, like they did in a 129-117 home loss to Miami, and Sarr returning would put a scorer back on Washington's floor.
