Grizzlies vs. Jazz Prediction, NBA Odds & Best Bets (10/26)

Fact checked at 8:10 AM ET, Oct 26, 2026
Odds as of 7:39 AM ET, Oct 26, 2026
Memphis brings a 3-0 record to the Delta Center for a 9:00 PM ET tip, and Utah is 1-2 after a 132-123 home loss to the Lakers. These teams already met in the opener, a 123-103 Memphis win in Memphis in which Ty Jerome scored 45. Utah has allowed 124.7 points a game over three games, tied for the fourth-most in the league. Utah is -1.5 (-109) with Memphis +1.5 (-112), and the moneyline is Utah -118 and Memphis -102. The spread hasn't moved since it opened.
We expect Memphis's starters to keep scoring on this Utah defense the way they did in the first meeting. Both picks are Overs on Memphis starters who have played big minutes in all three games, so they cash in the same game. Both teams are on the second night of a back-to-back. Memphis rested Zach Edey (left ankle) in its win at Sacramento and he was expected back for this one, but neither team has filed its injury report for this game yet. Neither pick depends on Edey.
Grizzlies vs. Jazz Predictions
- Pick #1: Ty Jerome Over 26.5 Points (-118)
- Pick #2: Jaylen Wells Over 11.5 Points (-123)
PICK #1: Ty Jerome Over 26.5 Points (-118)
Jerome's worst scoring night this season is 28. He put up 45 against Utah, 28 in a 111-108 win at Golden State and 31 in a 123-112 win at Sacramento, playing 32 minutes each time, and he has led Memphis in scoring in all three.
At Sacramento he went 1-for-6 from three and still scored 31, because he made all 14 of his free throws. A guard who gets to the line that often has a floor that doesn't depend on his jumper. Against Utah he went 17-of-25 with five threes, seven rebounds and six assists.
The -118 price implies a 54.1% chance. The number is high for any guard, and the 28 at Golden State only cleared by a point and a half. Utah has seen him once and will plan for him, and a blowout either way could cost him fourth-quarter minutes on the second night of a back-to-back.
PICK #2: Jaylen Wells Over 11.5 Points (-123)
Wells has started all three games and scored 12, 17 and 16, playing roughly 25 to 33 minutes. He hit four threes at Golden State and went 6-of-7 at Sacramento, so he hasn't needed one type of shot to get there.
This is a bet on his role in a game where Memphis scores. The Grizzlies have put up 123, 111 and 123, and Utah has given up 123, 119 and 132. If Memphis lands anywhere near its usual output, a starter playing around 30 minutes can get to 12 without a big night.
At -123, the implied chance is 55.2%. His 12 against Utah cleared by half a point. Cedric Coward, who didn't play at Golden State and was listed with a wrist injury before Sacramento, started there, which could take some of the shots Wells got in his 17-point game. Three games is a short record.
