    COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 9 BETS

Bet 1: Kentucky Wildcats (-1.5) at Mississippi State Bulldogs

Where: BetMGM - Offer: Risk Free First Bet up to $500

Is Kentucky for real? Better question: are they “real enough” to pull out a tricky road victory in Starkville? It helps that the Wildcats can lean on a reliable rushing attack along with a Top 25 defense. Because of this, Kentucky will be able to control the tempo, field possession, and hopefully the scoreboard.

Kentucky is averaging 5.4 yards per carry this season, which is good enough to be ranked #17 nationally. The Wildcats rank 22nd in yards per play and 19th in points per play this season. Translation: they have a legitimate defense that should be able to stall a Mississippi State offense that has been inconsistent all year, especially in the red-zone. Take the Cats to get the job done on Saturday.

Bet 2: Auburn Tigers (-2.5) vs. Ole Miss Rebels

Where: FanDuel Sportsbook - Offer: Deposit $500, Bonus $500

If you’ve frequented this article series, then you already know we like to pick SEC games against the spread. We are doubling-down on that strategy this week. Auburn is fresh off a bye week, and now they’ll face a banged-up Ole Miss team that is trying to catch their breath. Catching anything less than a field goal here represents fantastic value for the Tigers.

While the Rebels enjoyed a semi-comfortable 31-17 victory against LSU last weekend, Ole Miss has found themselves in some battles this month. It’s not a surprise that Mississippi QB Matt Corral is playing through a knee issue. Auburn has a massive defensive advantage in this game, and fresh legs with home field advantage doesn’t hurt either.

    NFL WEEK 8 BETS

Bet 1: Pittsburgh Steelers (+3.5) at Cleveland Browns

Where: Caesars Sportsbook - Offer: $5,000 Risk Free First Bet

This article series is becoming more and more about SEC football and AFC North matchups. Hey, it’s where we see the opportunities! Last week, we took Cincinnati as an underdog, and they ended up beating Baltimore outright. I wouldn’t be surprised if a similar outcome came true for the Pittsburgh-Cleveland game on Sunday.

Similar to the Auburn-Mississippi game, the Steelers have fresh legs while coming off a bye week. Meanwhile, seemingly half of the Browns’ players are questionable. That includes key guys like Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, and Kareem Hunt. Even if Cleveland gets their players back, we still believe this number is too big in a tight defensive battle between a pair of divisional rivals.

Bet 2: Atlanta Falcons (-3) vs. Carolina Panthers

Where: SugarHouse - Offer: Deposit $250, Bonus $250

Talk about two teams moving in opposite directions. The Falcons have won three of their last four games. It’s not like they faced an extremely challenging gauntlet through that stretch, but Atlanta seems to have struck a balance to inspire momentum for the rest of the season.

The same cannot be said for Carolina, who will continue to miss star RB Christian McCaffrey. The Panthers have lost four straight, and last week’s 3-25 blunder against the Giants was certainly demoralizing. Defenses are able to get pressure on Sam Darnold, and McCaffrey isn’t around to bail him out. It’s difficult to envision the Panthers scoring enough points to stay within the spread.
