Cowboys vs Raiders NFL Week 11 MNF Best Picks
Week 11 of the NFL concludes with a crunch Monday Night Football matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Las Vegas Raiders. This game takes place at Allegiant Stadium tonight on Monday, November 17, with kickoff set for 8:15 PM ET on ABC and ESPN. Let’s break down our Cowboys vs Raiders best bets for MNF.
Cowboys vs Raiders MNF Predictions
Pick #1: Dallas Cowboys -3.5 over Las Vegas Raiders (-105)
Pick #2: Under 49.5 (-108)
Pick #3: Brock Bowers Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+100)
Pick #1: Cowboys -3.5 over Raiders (-105)
Our top pick for this game will be for the Dallas Cowboys to cover the spread. The Cowboys have had a strange season, blowing out a team one week and getting blown out the next. Not to mention that Dallas also played to a 40-40 tie against Green Bay, which makes their record 3-5-1.
One thing that has been fairly consistent for Dallas is its offensive production. Quarterback Dak Prescott has thrown for 2,319 yards, 17 touchdowns and six interceptions, while they are getting elite production from running back Javonte Williams, who has rushed for 716 yards and eight touchdowns.
Despite their poor record of 2-7, Las Vegas has been fairly decent against the spread this season at 4-5; however, they have still lost by an average margin of 14 points per game. As for Dallas, they are also 4-5 against the spread, but have won by an average margin of 13.3 points per game.
There is extra motivation for Dallas to win following the tragic passing of their teammate Marshawn Kneeland. All things considered, the Cowboys -3.5 looks to be the right side to be on.
Pick #2: Under 49.5 (-108)
Our second pick for this game will be the under. Las Vegas has been up there as the most inconsistent offensive team this season. The Raiders are averaging 15.4 points per game this season, the 31st-ranked scoring offense in the league, and only better than the one-win Tennessee Titans. Despite their inability to score, Las Vegas’ defense has been decent at times, allowing an average of 24.4 points per game.
As for the Cowboys, they have one of the league’s best offenses in terms of scoring, averaging 29.2 points per game, the fourth-ranked offense in the league. However, their defense is allowing 30.8 points and ranks 31st in the league.
As bad as Dallas’ defense has been, they have a ton of players expected to return from injury in this matchup, which can only help them against the lowly Raiders. These players include linebacker DeMarvion Overshown, cornerback Shavon Revel and safeties Donovan Wilson and Malik Hooker. Additionally, recently acquired defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and linebacker Logan Wilson are expected to be available.
The Raiders have seen seven of their nine games go under the total posted for this game, so with their immense offensive struggles and Dallas’ defense being revamped, this one could be lower-scoring than expected.
Pick #3: Brock Bowers Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+100)
Our final pick for this game will be for Brock Bowers to score a touchdown. Seeing that the Raiders’ offense has been one of the worst this season, Bowers has not had the season we were expecting him to have after breaking out last year as a rookie.
That being said, Bowers has a total of three receiving touchdowns through nine games, and all three of them came in the Week 9 overtime loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Facing the Cowboys’ defense, which has allowed 22 receiving touchdowns to their opponents this season, should give Bowers a good chance to find the end zone.
