Odds as of 7:56 AM ET, Oct 25, 2026
Oklahoma City hosts the Clippers at Paycom Center at 7:00 PM ET, and the Thunder have won their first two games with defense. They beat San Antonio 116-104 on the road Tuesday and Denver 96-84 at home Thursday, a night Shai Gilgeous-Alexander shot 6-of-19 and scored 17, ending his record run of 141 straight regular-season 20-point games. The Clippers are 1-1, with a 121-96 home win over Sacramento on Wednesday and a 125-117 loss to the Lakers on Friday night. They arrive on one day's rest and short-handed. Bradley Beal, Brandon Ingram and Max Strus are out on the league's injury report, and none of them has played this season, so Darius Garland, Kris Dunn, Rui Hachimura, Derrick Jones Jr. and Isaiah Jackson should start again. Oklahoma City lists only Nikola Topic, Thomas Sorber and Otega Oweh out.
Our read is a low-scoring game in which the Thunder's defense and size keep a thin Clippers team well below its scoring pace, and all three picks need that game. Oklahoma City is a 15.5-point favorite after opening -14.5, and the total has moved from 221.5 to 222.5.
Clippers vs. Thunder Predictions
- Pick #1: Kris Dunn Under 7.5 Points (-114)
- Pick #2: Under 222.5 (-112)
- Pick #3: Darius Garland Under 2.5 Rebounds (-136)
PICK #1: Kris Dunn Under 7.5 Points (-114)
Dunn starts, but the shots go elsewhere. Garland scored 30 against Sacramento and 26 against the Lakers, Hachimura added 10 and 16, and Brook Lopez scored 17 and 22 off the bench. Dunn had 7 in each game, in 27 and 34 minutes, and had 7 and 5 assists.
That is his normal range. He finished under 7.5 in 45 of 82 regular-season games last season and averaged 7.3, and his last five games, counting last season's play-in loss to Golden State, went 7, 7, 7, 4 and 5. Against Oklahoma City last season he scored 3, 14 and 6. At -114 the Under implies a 53.3% chance, and the matchup tilts it further. The Thunder have allowed 94 points a game, fewest in the league, though that is only two games, against San Antonio and Denver; Denver scored 84 in that building on Thursday.
The danger is one more basket. He has scored 7 twice already, his minutes climbed to 34 against the Lakers, and with Beal, Ingram and Strus out there are shots to go around. The Over is -111.
PICK #2: Under 222.5 (-112)
Both of Oklahoma City's games came in well under their closing totals: 220 points at San Antonio and 180 against Denver. The Thunder have allowed 94 a game, fewest in the league, and scored 106, 28th of 30 teams, through those two games. The Clippers arrive missing three scorers.
The Clippers have gone one each way, 217 points against Sacramento and 242 against the Lakers. Across both teams' four games, three stayed under 222.5. The price of -112 needs a 52.8% hit rate, and some books now hang 223.5.
The case against starts with the market. The total is up a point from its 221.5 open, and 62% of the money is on the Over against 55% of the bets. All three meetings last season cleared this number, at 238, 223 and 233 points, although Kawhi Leonard played in two of them for the Clippers and now plays for Toronto. Gilgeous-Alexander also won't shoot 6-of-19 every night, and a 32-point game like his opener would move Oklahoma City's score in a hurry.
PICK #3: Darius Garland Under 2.5 Rebounds (-136)
Garland runs the Clippers' offense and leads them in scoring, and he barely rebounds: 1 in 32 minutes against Sacramento, none in 37 against the Lakers. Last season he averaged 2.4 and stayed under 2.5 in 29 of 45 regular-season games, including 12 of 19 after joining the Clippers. The -136 price implies 57.6%.
Oklahoma City's size is the other half of it. Chet Holmgren grabbed 17 rebounds against Denver, and Isaiah Hartenstein starts next to him. On the Clippers' side, the boards go to the forwards and centers, with Hachimura at 8 and 6, Jackson at 5 and 6 and Jones at 6 and 4.
Long rebounds are the worry. He had 5 in last season's play-in game against Golden State, he has played 32 and 37 minutes, plenty of time to pick up three, and a low-scoring game means more misses to chase. The Over pays +103.
