Chiefs vs. Seahawks Prediction, NFL Week 7 SNF Odds & Best Bets (10/25)

Fact checked at 8:57 AM ET, Oct 25, 2026
Odds as of 7:56 AM ET, Oct 25, 2026
Kansas City (5-0) visits Lumen Field for an 8:20 PM ET kickoff on NBC, coming off a 22-6 win over the Chargers in which its defense didn't give up a touchdown. Seattle (3-3) has dropped two straight, 32-29 to the 49ers and 17-14 at Denver, and has had 10 days to get ready. The Chiefs arrive thin up front. Starting right tackle Jaylon Moore (concussion) is out, and left tackle Josh Simmons, who hasn't played this season, went on injured reserve this week. Rashee Rice (hamstring/knee) misses a second straight game, and running back Brashard Smith is out as well. Seattle has ruled out running back Zach Charbonnet and linebackers Drake Thomas and Chazz Surratt, and lists five players as questionable, among them safety Nick Emmanwori and edge rushers DeMarcus Lawrence and Uchenna Nwosu.
Seattle is laying 3, the same number it opened at. The total is where the action has been: it opened at 45.5 and is down to 42.5. Patrick Mahomes (knee) practiced fully all week and has no game status, and Sam Darnold isn't on Seattle's injury report.
Our read is a game in the low 40s or below. Kansas City brings a patched line and no Rice into a matchup with the league's best pass defense, Seattle runs into the second-best scoring defense, and the Chiefs keep handing the ball to Kenneth Walker III.
Chiefs vs. Seahawks Predictions
- Pick #1: Under 42.5 (-110)
- Pick #2: Kenneth Walker III Under 22.5 Receiving Yards (-117)
PICK #1: Under 42.5 (-110)
This total has fallen three points since it opened, and 56% of the money on it is on the Under, from just 38% of the bets. Moore got hurt during that same stretch, which probably explains part of the move.
Kansas City allows 16.6 points a game, second-fewest in the league. Seattle allows 20.3, tied for fifth-fewest, and nobody gives up fewer passing yards per game. Three of Kansas City's five games have stayed under 42.5, including last week's 22-6 win and a 24-10 game at Miami. Three of Seattle's six have as well, the 17-14 loss at Denver among them.
At -110, the Under implies 52.4%. With both defenses playing this well and Kansas City's passing game missing both starting tackles and Rice, we'd make it more likely than that.
What beats this is a game that breaks open. The Chiefs average 28.0 points, fifth in the league, and they've played a 33-30 overtime game against the Colts and a 30-27 game at Las Vegas. Seattle lost shootouts to San Francisco (32-29) and at Washington (33-31). Weather shouldn't matter much: the forecast calls for temperatures in the 50s, almost no wind and about an even chance of light rain around kickoff.
PICK #2: Kenneth Walker III Under 22.5 Receiving Yards (-117)
Walker leads the league with 665 rushing yards, and Kansas City hasn't asked him to do much as a receiver. He has 18, 61, 3, 2 and 11 receiving yards in five games, under 22.5 in four of them.
He's seen two, one and three targets over his last three games. The 61-yard game came on 10 targets in the 33-30 overtime win over the Colts, Kansas City's highest-scoring game of the year. Last week, with Rice already sidelined, he caught two of three targets for 11 yards.
Seattle allows 156.8 passing yards a game, fewest in the league. With both starting tackles out against that defense, the plan should be to run it, which is how Walker has done most of his damage.
The -117 price implies 53.9%. Checkdowns are the worry. If Seattle's pass rush gets home, Mahomes could dump the ball to his backs, and one long catch-and-run would clear 22.5 on its own. A Chiefs team playing from behind would also throw more to everybody.
