Bulls vs. Knicks Prediction, NBA Odds & Best Bets (11/4)

Fact checked at 7:26 AM ET, Nov 4, 2026
Odds as of 7:00 AM ET, Nov 4, 2026
The Bulls (1-6) bring a five-game losing streak into Madison Square Garden for a 7:30 PM ET tip against the Knicks (3-4), who are 11.5-point favorites. We think this one gets played at New York's pace. The Knicks allow 105.1 points a game, tied for second in the league, and their own offense scores only 106.4 (27th), so they don't often run a score up. If their defense handles a young Chicago attack, the total stays down and Josh Giddey, whose role in that attack has shrunk, has another quiet night.
Josh Hart is questionable for New York with right ankle soreness. Chicago lists Nic Claxton as questionable with a left hamstring strain (he hasn't played this season) and Jalen Smith as probable with a finger sprain. Neither starting lineup has been confirmed.
Bulls vs. Knicks Predictions
- Pick #1: Under 233.5 (-106)
- Pick #2: Josh Giddey Under 18.5 Points + Rebounds (-119)
PICK #1: Under 233.5 (-106)
Six of New York's seven games have finished under this number, with combined scores of 206, 210, 213, 208, 191 and 193. The Knicks have scored 103 or fewer in five of the seven, and no opponent except Chicago has scored more than 111 on them. To push this over, New York probably needs something near 123. It has done that once all season.
That once was against these Bulls a week ago, a 133-127 Knicks win in Chicago, and it's the best argument for the other side. Chicago gives up 128.9 a game, worst in the league, and four of its seven games have gone over 233.5. Chicago's own scoring is the weaker half, though. The Bulls have topped 111 only three times, and on trips to Boston (twice) and Philadelphia they put up 99, 111 and 107. A road game against a top-three defense should look more like those nights than like the shootout at home.
-106 implies 51.5%, and a few books already hang 234.5. If New York's shooters get as hot as they did in Chicago, this is over by the third quarter. Hart's status is worth watching too.
PICK #2: Josh Giddey Under 18.5 Points + Rebounds (-119)
Giddey hasn't reached 18.5 points plus rebounds in any of his seven games this season. He's averaging 9.1 points and 5.1 rebounds in 27.1 minutes, and his totals by game are 9 at Toronto, 10 at Milwaukee, 17 against Washington, 12 at Boston, 18 against the Knicks, 17 at Boston and 17 at Philadelphia. That's only seven games, but there are reasons for it.
Last season he averaged 17.0 points and 8.3 rebounds, and this line still seems priced partly on that. The job is different now. Rookie Caleb Wilson and Matas Buzelis carry more of the offense, and Giddey's usage rate has dropped sharply. New coach Tiago Splitter wants him boxing out instead of chasing rebounds, and Giddey has said he's still adjusting. He's also playing through a left wrist sprain the team plans to manage all season.
In the game we expect, New York's defense controls the pace, Chicago's offense bogs down, Giddey's touches go elsewhere, and a lopsided score would trim his minutes. -119 implies 54.3%. The one worry is that his closest call came in the last meeting: 10 points and 8 rebounds against the Knicks, 18 total.
