Buccaneers vs Rams NFL Week 12 SNF Picks

Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season features a Sunday Night Football matchup between a couple of contenders in the NFC. The action kicks off at 8:20 PM ET on NBC with the Los Angeles Rams playing host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Rams narrowly escaped with a victory over the Seahawks in a massive contest a week ago, while the Buccaneers come into this one following a difficult loss at the hands of the Bills in Week 11.

PICK #1: Rams -6.5 (-115) vs Buccaneers

These are a pair of teams that are trending in different directions heading into this week, with Tampa Bay having lost three of its last four games and struggling to stop any opposing offense with a pulse. It certainly doesn’t help matters that the Rams are playing extremely well, and Los Angeles is an unlucky result against the Eagles away from being the clear top team in the NFL at the moment. 

On the other side, the Buccaneers have dropped three of their last four games, including a loss to a struggling Bills team a week ago. Not only has Tampa Bay lost some key players on defense, but the Bucs are also still due for some significant turnover regression, so this could be a game where we see Baker Mayfield turn the ball over for just the fourth time this season and set his team back as a result. Look for the Rams to control the line of scrimmage and win by at least a touchdown. 

PICK #2: Over 49.5 (-110)

This is a game that should feature plenty of points, especially considering the advantages both offenses should hold in this one. As previously mentioned, the Rams offense presents a tough matchup for the Buccaneers, with Tampa Bay’s defense having struggled to stop every competent offense it's faced this season, including allowing 44 points to the Bills a week ago. With that in mind, Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua and company are going to be able to see consistent success and ensure that the Rams remain in scoring position throughout the contest. 

On the other side, the Bucs offense has dealt with a ton of injuries all season long, but that hasn't stopped Baker Mayfield and company from putting up points in bunches. We can expect Mayfield and this offense to keep things rolling, even against a Rams defense that should be a significant upgrade from what the Bucs saw a week ago against Buffalo. Let’s take the over in a game that should produce some fireworks. 

PICK #3: Baker Mayfield Over 0.5 Interceptions (-115)

To close out our picks for Sunday Night Football, we’ll target Baker Mayfield to throw an interception. As previously mentioned, Mayfield is due for some major turnover regression, and he did finally throw his third interception of the campaign a week ago.

The Rams' secondary just made life very difficult for Sam Darnold last week by picking him off four times, and that could certainly crop up again this time out against a quarterback that is sure to be under duress from the start.
