Odds as of 6:23 AM ET, Nov 3, 2026

The Blues (7-6-1) visit the Rangers (7-7-1) at Madison Square Garden at 7:00 PM ET, and we expect goals at both ends. St. Louis has won two straight, the last a 5-4 win at Detroit where it scored the final three goals. New York has dropped four in a row and been outscored 22-12 over that stretch, but its top power-play group keeps producing even in losses. Our picks follow that script: Adam Fox keeps setting up the Rangers' offense, and the Blues' depth finds the net against a team that has given up at least four goals in each of its last four games.

Dylan Garand (4-6-1, .896) is projected to start for New York, with Igor Shesterkin and Joonas Korpisalo on injured reserve. Joel Hofer (6-3-1, .916) is projected for St. Louis. Neither club has confirmed a starter, and the lines and power-play units below are projections too. The total is 5.5 with the Over at -131, so the market leans toward six or more goals. Most of the tickets on the total are on the Over, while most of the money is on the Under. New York is -120 on the moneyline and St. Louis is -100. Not every book settles player props the same way if the game goes to overtime.

Blues vs. Rangers Predictions

  • Pick #1: Adam Fox Over 0.5 Points (-155)
  • Pick #2: Dylan Holloway Over 0.5 Assists (+200)

PICK #1: Adam Fox Over 0.5 Points (-155)

Fox has 17 points in 15 games, and 16 of them are assists. He has a point in 11 of those 15 games and in 7 of his last 10. The losing streak hasn't slowed him much. He had four assists in the 5-4 loss at Toronto, two more in the 7-4 loss at Ottawa, then a power-play goal against Los Angeles. When New York scores, the puck usually goes through him.

His role hasn't changed. He's projected on the top pair with Vladislav Gavrikov and at the point on the first power-play unit with Alexis Lafreniere, Gabe Perreault, Pavel Dorofeyev and Mika Zibanejad, and he has played more than 18 minutes in every game this season.

The price is the catch. -155 implies a 60.8% chance, and his longer record sits closer to that than this season does: he had 53 points in 55 games last season. He was also held off the sheet in the last game, a 4-1 loss to Edmonton, and Hofer has been the steadier of the two projected goalies. We'll still back the defenseman the Rangers' offense runs through, on a night when both teams should find the net.

PICK #2: Dylan Holloway Over 0.5 Assists (+200)

The other half of the story is the Rangers' own end. New York has allowed 22 goals during the four-game skid, which leaves room for St. Louis to score beyond its top line, and Holloway is the Blues forward we want for that.

He has nine assists in 14 games, with at least one in seven of them, half his games. +200 implies only 33.3%. He had an assist in both wins on this streak, including the setup on Dalibor Dvorsky's opening goal at Detroit, and he has an assist in seven of his last 10 games, with a three-assist night against Columbus in there. The longer record backs it up too: he averaged about an assist every two games in each of the last two seasons.

He's projected on the third line with Dvorsky and Connor McMichael and on the second power-play unit with Pavel Buchnevich, McMichael, Adam Jiricek and Cam Fowler, and he has played at least 15 minutes in every game this season. The risk is a quiet Blues night. He didn't get an assist in the losses to Carolina and Montreal, and since he isn't on the first power-play unit, a game decided by the top units can pass him by.
