Bengals vs Broncos NFL Week 4 MNF Picks
Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season closes out Monday night with a matchup between two AFC teams still trying to find their footing. The Cincinnati Bengals travel to Denver to take on the Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High.
Cincinnati comes in at 2-1, but is going to be without QB Joe Burrow with his toe injury for the foreseeable future. They were embarrassed without him last week by the Vikings. The Broncos, meanwhile, are 1-2 and looking to bounce back after two close losses, including a heartbreaker last week against the Chargers.
Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 pm ET on ESPN, with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on the call. Both teams have flaws, but they have enough talent to make this a sneaky-fun Monday night battle.
Let’s break down the matchup and highlight three betting angles to consider heading into kickoff.

- Pick #3 – Jake Browning Over 0.5 Interceptions (-165) Click Here to Bet
Pick #1 – Bengals +7.5 (-110) over Broncos
Let’s be clear, Cincinnati isn’t the same team without Burrow. However, getting more than a touchdown feels a bit much here. Jake Browning isn’t going to light it up, but he’s shown a willingness to take shots, and he’s not exactly lacking in weapons. Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins can change a game with a single play, and if Browning can manage the game without unraveling, the Bengals should be able to keep this close.
Denver’s offense, led by second-year QB Bo Nix, has had some flashes but hasn't put together a full game yet. Trusting them to win by more than a touchdown feels risky, especially against a Bengals defense that can hold its own when not stuck defending short fields off turnovers.
This one might get messy, but Cincinnati should hang around and make it interesting. We think the Broncos will win, but it should be by a touchdown or less.
Pick #2 – Over 44.5 Total Points (-110)
Even without Burrow, this game could go over. For one, Browning plays with a bit of a gunslinger mentality. That can lead to turnovers, but it also opens the door for explosive plays, especially with guys like Chase on the outside. Cincinnati’s run game hasn’t clicked yet, with Chase Brown averaging just 2.0 yards per carry, so expect a pass-heavy approach, which often leads to more possessions and scoring chances.
Denver’s offense has been inconsistent, but they’ve also moved the ball in spurts. Nix is still learning, but at home, against a defense that can give up points, he should have some opportunities.
Factor in potential short fields from turnovers, a fast-paced second half, and the always unpredictable nature of Monday Night Football, and this one has a good shot to hit the Over. A 27–23 or 24–21 type of game is well within reach.
Pick #3 – Jake Browning Over 0.5 Interceptions (-165)
This one’s pretty straightforward. Browning’s aggressive style, combined with a tough road environment, sets up a good chance for at least one mistake. He’s already thrown five interceptions in just six quarters of play, and now he’s heading into hostile territory in Denver, where the altitude and crowd noise can be brutal for young quarterbacks.
Denver’s secondary is elite, and Patrick Surtain II is a difference-maker, and the Broncos defense has shown they can force mistakes. Whether it’s a tipped ball, a forced throw, or just a rookie misread, there’s plenty of opportunity for a pick. It’s a bit juiced at -165, but it’s a solid prop to round out your Monday night card.
