76ers vs. Cavaliers Prediction, NBA Odds & Best Bets (11/6)

Fact checked at 8:00 AM ET, Nov 6, 2026
Odds as of 7:30 AM ET, Nov 6, 2026
Philadelphia (8-1) visits Cleveland (4-4) at Rocket Arena at 7:30 PM ET in an NBA Cup East Group B game that also counts in the standings. The 76ers are 1-0 in the group after beating New York, and Cleveland is playing its first group game. Philadelphia's defense should hold a short-handed Cavaliers team in the low 100s. That gets the 76ers a win, keeps the game under the total and keeps Donovan Mitchell below his scoring line.
Cleveland is thin right now. Jarrett Allen is questionable with a right knee contusion after playing only seven minutes in the loss at Oklahoma City two nights ago. Tyrese Proctor (left ankle) and Peyton Watson (right hamstring) are also questionable, and Jaylon Tyson (right ankle) is out. Philadelphia lists Adem Bona as doubtful, with Dominick Barlow and Ariel Hukporti out.
Previews posted yesterday had Cleveland as a 1.5-point favorite with a total of 234.5. Philadelphia is now a 2.5-point favorite, and the total is down to 229.5.
76ers vs. Cavaliers Predictions
- Pick #1: 76ers Moneyline (-150)
- Pick #2: Under 229.5 (-110)
- Pick #3: Donovan Mitchell Under 25.5 Points (-123)
PICK #1: 76ers Moneyline (-150)
Philadelphia has won five straight without allowing more than 109 in any of them: 112-106 at Detroit, 126-107 over Chicago, 109-104 at Charlotte, 98-93 over New York and 114-109 at Indiana. The 76ers allow 105.2 points a game, and they already beat Cleveland 114-106 in the season opener in Philadelphia.
Cleveland has dropped two in a row to Oklahoma City, 117-112 at home and 124-116 on the road, and shot a season-low 43% in the second one. That's three losses in its last five.
At -150 the moneyline implies 60.0%. Philadelphia went 45-37 last season, but that was before LeBron James and Jaylen Brown arrived, and this version is 8-1. Cleveland still scores 119.3 a game, and a healthy Allen next to Evan Mobley would make this a tougher matchup. The public is heavy on Philadelphia: 79% of moneyline bets and 78% of the money, plus 84% of spread bets but only 54% of spread money.
PICK #2: Under 229.5 (-110)
Average each team's scoring with what the other side allows and you get roughly 226, a few points under this total. Philadelphia's last five games finished at 218, 233, 213, 191 and 223 points, and the opener against Cleveland ended 114-106, a 220 total.
Philadelphia's games have stayed under 229.5 seven times in nine. Cleveland's have gone under that number only three times in eight, and its offense is the main risk to this bet. The thin rotation should help. With Tyson out and Allen, Proctor and Watson all questionable, the Cavaliers may not have the legs to push the pace for 48 minutes. The Under implies 52.4% at -110 and has 67% of the bets and 74% of the money.
PICK #3: Donovan Mitchell Under 25.5 Points (-123)
Mitchell is averaging 22.5 points, three below this line. He's stayed under 25.5 in five of eight games this season, with 22, 19, 22, 15 and 17, and 26, 27 and 32 the exceptions. He also shares the ball with James Harden, who took 16 shots in the loss at Oklahoma City.
The 32 came in the opener against Philadelphia, on 11-of-19 shooting, and Cleveland lost anyway. The -123 price implies 55.2%. We'll take a scorer averaging three points below his line against a defense that allows 105.2 a game.
Allen is the risk. After he left the Oklahoma City game in the first quarter, Mitchell scored 27 on 10-of-17 shooting. If Allen sits tonight, more shots could go Mitchell's way, though Harden took nearly as many in that game.
