76ers vs. Bulls Prediction, NBA Odds & Best Bets (11/8)

Fact checked at 8:14 AM ET, Nov 8, 2026
Odds as of 7:12 AM ET, Nov 8, 2026
The 76ers (8-2) visit the Bulls (1-7) at 3:30 PM ET at the United Center, six days after beating them 126-107 in Philadelphia. Philadelphia is first in the East and allows 106.6 points a game, fifth fewest in the league. Chicago has lost six straight, gives up a league-worst 129.6 a night and ranks 28th in offensive rating. This looks like a rerun of the first meeting: Philadelphia's defense keeps Chicago's guards quiet, and Jaylen Brown carries the scoring against the worst defense in the league.
Philadelphia is a 9.5-point favorite, and the total is 238.5. The 76ers lost 119-95 in Cleveland two nights ago, while Chicago lost 135-105 in New York in its last game. Nic Claxton is questionable with a hamstring strain but is set to make his Bulls debut, and coach Tiago Splitter has said his stints will be "small" in his first few games back. Joel Embiid is probable.
76ers vs. Bulls Predictions
- Pick #1: Josh Giddey Under 17.5 Points + Rebounds (-107)
- Pick #2: Norman Powell Under 24.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-116)
- Pick #3: Jaylen Brown 20+ Points (-160)
PICK #1: Josh Giddey Under 17.5 Points + Rebounds (-107)
Giddey has gone over 17.5 points plus rebounds once in eight games this season. His totals have been 9, 10, 17, 12, 18, 17, 17 and 11. He averages 9.3 points and 4.6 rebounds in 27.1 minutes, so the book has set this line well above what he has actually done.
Philadelphia has already held him under once. In the first meeting he played 32 minutes, his most of the season, and still finished at 17 (13 points, four rebounds). Then Chicago went 10 of 44 from three in New York, and Splitter said afterward that "we were selfish, taking quick shots" in the first half. Giddey had 10 points and one rebound in 27 minutes that night.
He has stayed under in seven of eight, and -107 implies 51.7%. Claxton's return should help the Under more than hurt it. He's another big man taking rebounds, and whatever Giddey gains from a center who rolls to the rim shows up as assists, which this market doesn't count. What beats this is a close game that keeps Giddey on the floor for 35-plus minutes. He's projected to start.
PICK #2: Norman Powell Under 24.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-116)
Powell averages 19.3 points a game, but he adds only 2.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists. His combined totals this season are 21, 30, 23, 23, 34, 21, 21 and 14, which puts him under 24.5 in six of eight. At -116 the Under implies 53.7%.
A lopsided Philadelphia win suits this Under. Chicago has lost three games this season by 30 or more. Powell played 22 to 24 minutes in each and finished at 21, 23 and 14. In the first meeting with Philadelphia he went 5 of 13 from the field and had 18 points, three rebounds and no assists in 29 minutes, which adds up to 21.
His two overs were 30 and 34. Free throws are the danger: he attempts 8.6 a game, so he can score in the low 20s even on a poor shooting night. Powell also figures to be in the starting five.
PICK #3: Jaylen Brown 20+ Points (-160)
In the first meeting Brown had 25 points and 11 rebounds in 33 minutes, and Chicago's defense hasn't gotten any better. The Bulls have allowed at least 124 points in all eight of their games.
He averages 21.6 points on 47.4% shooting and 40.0% from three, and he has scored 20 or more in six of nine games: 19, 21, 27, 16, 20, 16, 25, 30 and 20. That's 66.7% against the 61.5% that -160 implies. The margin is thin, so the matchup has to carry part of the case, and we think it can. In Cleveland, Embiid and LeBron James shot a combined 3-for-21 and Brown still scored 20. Last season, on a different team, he averaged 28.7 points and reached 20 in 64 of 71 regular-season games.
A lopsided score shouldn't cost him much. Brown hasn't played fewer than 33 minutes in any game this season, and that includes the 19-point win over these Bulls. The real risk is a cold night like his two 16-point games, and that's why -160 isn't a bargain. Brown should start.
