Titans vs. Colts Prediction, NFL Week 6 Odds & Best Bets (10/18)

Fact checked at 8:35 AM ET, Oct 18, 2026
Odds as of Oct 18, 8:30 AM ET
Tennessee comes to Indianapolis at 0-5 with the league's worst scoring offense, 11.6 points per game, and last week's 26-3 home loss to Houston was the low point so far. Robert Saleh shut down the quarterback question afterward ("Cam's our starting quarterback"), so Ward stays in charge of an offense that hasn't scored more than 20 points in any game. The Colts are 2-3 after a London win over Washington and a 34-22 loss at Pittsburgh, and they handled the Titans twice last season, 41-20 in Nashville and 38-14 at home.
The market has leaned our way since the open. Indianapolis opened as a 3.5-point favorite and sits at -6.5; the total opened at 47.5 and has dropped to 44.5. Tennessee is without defensive tackle Jordan Elliott and safety Kevin Winston Jr., with running back Tyjae Spears questionable. On the Colts side, tight end Tyler Warren (groin) is questionable after a limited Friday practice and is reported as a game-time decision.
We're building everything around the Titans' offense. If it stays as stuck as it has been for five weeks, the game goes under, Tennessee's depth receivers barely touch the ball and the Colts pull away.
Kickoff is Sunday at 1:00 PM ET at Lucas Oil Stadium, indoors, on Fox.
Titans vs. Colts Predictions
- Pick #1: Under 44.5 (-108)
- Pick #2: Elic Ayomanor Under 1.5 Receptions (-128)
- Pick #3: Colts -6.5 (-116)
PICK #1: Under 44.5 (-108)
Every Titans game this season has landed under 44.5. The combined scores read 33 against the Jets, 44 against Philadelphia, 19 against the Giants, 42 at Baltimore and 29 against Houston, and Tennessee put up 10, 20, 7, 18 and 3 of those points.
Indianapolis averages 24.8 points, 10th in the league. Stack that on Tennessee's 11.6 and you're near 36, well short of this number. The worry is the Colts' defense, which gives up 27.6 points a game (27th), and three Colts games have gone over 44.5: Baltimore, Kansas City and Pittsburgh. Those offenses are a different class from this one. The three-point drop since the open says the market sees it the same way, and at -108 you only need this to cash 51.9% of the time.
PICK #2: Elic Ayomanor Under 1.5 Receptions (-128)
Ayomanor has one catch in four of Tennessee's five games. Week by week he's gone 1, 2, 1, 1 and 1, on three, three, three, one and two targets. He's the third receiver in three-wide sets behind Carnell Tate and Wan'Dale Robinson, playing between 52% and 80% of the snaps, and Calvin Ridley rotates in too. Even last week, with Tennessee chasing Houston most of the afternoon, he caught one of two targets for 17 yards.
The price, -128, works out to a 56.1% chance. What could beat it is volume: Indianapolis allows 268 passing yards per game, 28th in the league, and a Ward who is behind will keep throwing. But in last week's chase the targets went to Spears (nine), Robinson (seven) and Tate (five), not to him.
PICK #3: Colts -6.5 (-116)
If the Titans stay stuck, the Colts should pull clear. Tennessee has lost by 13, 4, 5, 6 and 23 points, and Cam Ward has completed 98 of 155 passes for 896 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. A Colts team scoring 24.8 a game doesn't need much to clear a touchdown against that. The number has moved three points, from -3.5 to -6.5, and bettors back the Colts in similar shares of spread tickets (62%) and money (60%).
This one carries the most risk of the three. Indianapolis has won by seven or more only once in five games, 30-13 over Washington in London, its defense allows 27.6 points a game, and Warren is a game-time call. At -116 the break-even is 53.7%.
