Magic vs. Warriors Prediction, NBA Odds & Best Bets (11/7)

Fact checked at 9:15 AM ET, Nov 7, 2026
Odds as of 8:07 AM ET, Nov 7, 2026
Orlando (2-6) visits Golden State (6-3) at 8:30 PM ET in San Francisco, and this should be a game played from behind the arc. The Warriors have won six straight and have taken 42.6 threes a game over their last five, while their opponents have put up 39.4. Orlando has launched 37.0 a game over its own last five and made 35.7% of them. Add it up and you get plenty of jump shots and plenty of long misses. Our three picks all come from that: a high-volume shooter on each side, and a Warriors guard who cleans up the misses.
The Magic have lost three straight and are on the second stop of a four-game West Coast trip. They are still without Paolo Banchero (right high ankle sprain) and Jalen Suggs (right knee bone bruise). Golden State lists Draymond Green (right elbow), Gary Payton II (right calf) and Gui Santos (left knee) as questionable on the latest injury report.
Magic vs. Warriors Predictions
- Pick #1: Brandin Podziemski Over 1.5 Threes (-184)
- Pick #2: De'Anthony Melton 4+ Rebounds (-103)
- Pick #3: Desmond Bane Over 2.5 Threes (-173)
PICK #1: Brandin Podziemski Over 1.5 Threes (-184)
Podziemski has made at least two threes in six of his seven games: two against Memphis, three at Denver, four against the Lakers, two against the Clippers, three against Phoenix and two against Miami two nights ago. The miss came at Minnesota, where he took one three in 32 minutes. He starts in Golden State's backcourt, plays 32 to 37 minutes a night and averages 6.6 attempts.
At -184 the line implies 64.8%, which is a lot for a seven-game run. Last season looks worse at first glance, with two or more in only 46 of 82 games. Filter to the 50 games where he played at least 28 minutes, though, and he got there 36 times, or 72.0%. He has played at least 32 minutes in every game this season.
A blowout would hurt. Golden State is a clear favorite, and an early lead means the starters spend much of the fourth quarter on the bench.
PICK #2: De'Anthony Melton 4+ Rebounds (-103)
Melton comes off Golden State's bench, and last season's minutes limit and back-to-back rest are gone. He has at least four rebounds in seven straight games: five at Phoenix, four at Denver, six at Minnesota, five against the Lakers, six against the Clippers, seven against Phoenix and six against Miami. He started the Clippers game with Stephen Curry out. His only misses came in the first two games of the season, when he had two and one rebounds in 21 and 20 minutes.
That's seven of nine at a price that implies 50.7%. Orlando has missed about 24 threes a game over its last five, and long misses are the rebounds a guard collects.
Minutes are the risk. He played only 17 against Miami and still grabbed six, but Payton II and Santos are questionable, and if they return they could take some of his time.
PICK #3: Desmond Bane Over 2.5 Threes (-173)
Bane is taking 9.5 threes a game this season and has put up at least eight in every game. Last season he averaged 5.2 attempts and made three or more in only 28 of 82 games. The jump in volume is why we like this. He is shooting a modest 36.8% from deep and has still made three or more in six of eight games.
Even in the 25-turnover loss at Phoenix two nights ago, he got up nine threes and made three, with Franz Wagner handing out 15 assists. At -173 the implied probability is 63.4%.
Both of his misses came in lopsided losses: 2 of 8 in a 30-point loss at Toronto and 1 of 9 in 27 minutes of a 22-point home loss to Minnesota. So, like Podziemski, he needs the game to stay close enough for the starters to play their minutes.
