Suns vs. Warriors Prediction, NBA Odds & Best Bets (11/2)

Fact checked at 8:55 AM ET, Nov 2, 2026
Odds as of 8:54 AM ET, Nov 2, 2026
The Suns (1-3) visit Chase Center for a 10:00 PM ET tip, and Golden State (4-3) should have its stars for this one. Phoenix won the first meeting 131-122 while Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Brandin Podziemski sat on the second night of a back-to-back. The Warriors went the other way with this back-to-back: Curry and Green rested on the first night, a 124-112 win over the Clippers, and both are expected back, though Golden State's injury report isn't out yet. Gui Santos (knee) has been reported out. Phoenix lists only Mark Williams, who hasn't played this season, and a two-way player.
Phoenix has given up 124, 122, 125 and 127 points in its four games, 124.5 a game. Golden State is favored by two and a half to three and a half, depending on the book, and the total is about 228. We think the Warriors' starting backcourt does the scoring tonight, so we're on Curry and Podziemski to clear their points lines. Golden State's lineup is projected until the team posts it.
Suns vs. Warriors Predictions
- Pick #1: Stephen Curry Over 26.5 Points (-108)
- Pick #2: Brandin Podziemski Over 15.5 Points (+100)
PICK #1: Stephen Curry Over 26.5 Points (-108)
Curry put up 99 points in the three wins before his night off: 24 on 8-of-8 shooting at Denver, 44 at Minnesota and 31 against the Lakers. He's averaging 29.2 in five games. Now he gets a defense that hasn't held anyone under 122, and he gets it rested.
This line sits right about where he lives. He averaged 26.6 points last season and scored 27 or more in 23 of his 43 games, 53.5%, while -108 implies 51.9%. Against Phoenix he went 28, 15 and 28.
He's only 2 of 5 over this number this season, though. He scored 23 in 21 minutes of a 127-105 loss at the Lakers and 24 against Memphis, and the 24 at Denver came on eight shots in a 20-point win. He's 38, Golden State is managing his right knee, and his minutes have stayed around 30, so a lopsided game either way cuts into his time. Phoenix also has Dillon Brooks to put on him. If Curry is ruled out, most books void the bet.
PICK #2: Brandin Podziemski Over 15.5 Points (+100)
Podziemski has started all five of his games and played at least 31 minutes in each, scoring 18, 18, 8, 21 and 17. That's 4 of 5 over this number, and 3 of 4 with Curry on the floor. He sat out the first meeting, so tonight is his first crack at this Suns defense.
His 13.8 points a game last season undersell the job he has now. He played 31 or more minutes 28 times last season and scored 16 or more in 19 of them, 67.9%, well clear of the 50.0% that even money implies. Most of those nights came with Curry hurt. In games Curry played and Podziemski logged 31-plus minutes, he's 7 of 12 over the last two seasons. The ball is in his hands more, too: he had eight rebounds and eight assists against the Clippers, and with Santos out the rotation stays short.
The risk is shot volume. He took only five shots at Minnesota and finished with 8, and five games is a short record to lean on.
