Odds as of 6:50 AM ET, Oct 30, 2026

The Seattle Kraken (8-4-1) visit the Calgary Flames (5-7-0) at Scotiabank Saddledome, and puck drop is 8:00 PM ET. Seattle has won both meetings this season 6-1, with Dustin Wolf in goal each time. Wolf is projected to start again after Devin Cooley's lower-body injury in a 4-0 loss at Edmonton.

We expect a high-scoring game driven by Seattle's spread-out attack. The Kraken get to Wolf, Calgary's power play answers, Brandon Montour finds the scoresheet, and none of it requires Vince Dunn to pile up shots. All three of these bets won together in six of Seattle's 13 games.

Neither starter is confirmed. Seattle's own projected lines list Joey Daccord, and Philipp Grubauer started the last game.

Kraken vs. Flames Predictions

  • Pick #1: Brandon Montour Over 0.5 Points (+120)
  • Pick #2: Over 6.5 (+101)
  • Pick #3: Vince Dunn Under 2.5 Shots on Goal (-180)

PICK #1: Brandon Montour Over 0.5 Points (+120)

Montour has a point in four straight games, capped by the winner with 34 seconds left against Toronto. He's at 10 points in 12 games and has reached the scoresheet in seven of them, a small sample, while +120 implies a 45.5% chance. He had nothing in the first 6-1 win over Calgary and two assists in the second.

Tonight's opponent is why we trust the start. The Flames allow 3.75 goals a game, third-most in the NHL, and Wolf has a 4.81 goals-against average and an .839 save percentage. Montour averages 24:00 a night on the second pair with Ryker Evans and runs the second power-play unit. Seattle also has 14 players with multiple goals, the most in the league, so his setups have plenty of finishers.

The Under at -165 tells you the market leans on last season, when he had 32 points in 64 games. He has only two power-play points this year, so he needs even-strength production. Player props may settle differently in overtime at different books.

PICK #2: Over 6.5 (+101)

Ten of Seattle's 13 games have reached seven goals, one of them through a shootout, and both meetings with Calgary finished with seven. The Seattle goalie doesn't change that: seven or more came in five of Grubauer's seven starts and five of Daccord's six. The Kraken score 3.69 goals a game and allow 3.54, and Calgary allows 3.75.

Chances should come at both ends. Seattle gives up 31.1 shots a game, second-most in the league, and Calgary gives up 30.5, fourth-most. Calgary's share of the scoring can come on the power play, which ranks fifth at 29% against a Seattle penalty kill at 67.6% and has produced nine of the Flames' 28 goals.

The price is close to even, with the total holding at 6.5 and 76% of the money and 61% of the bets on the Over. At +101 it implies 49.8%.

The worry is Calgary's offense, at 2.33 goals a game, third-fewest in the league. Only one of the Flames' last five games went over its closing total, mostly with Cooley in goal. If Wolf doesn't start, or Grubauer starts and beats his 2.93 goals-against average, seven gets harder.

PICK #3: Vince Dunn Under 2.5 Shots on Goal (-180)

Dunn plays on the top pair with Adam Larsson and on the top power-play unit, and he still doesn't shoot much. In the 10 games that reached seven goals, he stayed at two shots or fewer nine times, including two and zero in the 6-1 wins over Calgary. The one miss was three shots in an 8-3 loss at Florida. His two four-shot nights came in lower-scoring games: a 3-2 shootout win at Philadelphia and a 5-1 loss to Minnesota.

That matches how this team scores. Seattle averages 25.5 shots a game, seventh-fewest in the league, and gets its 3.69 goals from all over the lineup.

At -180 the implied chance is 64.3%, and we wouldn't go shorter. Dunn has stayed under in 10 of 13 this season, a small sample, and 53 of 81 last season, or 65.4%, which clears the price by only a little. Jared McCann is on injured reserve, which could push more shots to the point, and one extra power-play attempt can decide this. Prices vary by book here, so shop around.
